Friends, historians, travelers! We need YOUR help!

Sadly, while we are hard at work renovating our third location to bring you a one of a kind experience. To truly share with you our long standing history of visiting ghosts, pirate stories as well as the story of how we are the oldest commercial building surviving thru hurricanes and many fires of Charleston. Someone took it upon themselves to trespass our property to steal our precious gate!

We loving took much care with this gate during all of our renovations of tearing out overgrown vines, placing down bluestone and charleston brick- in keeping the quality as you would expect to see downtown.

Open since 1686, it is the oldest liquor store in the U.S. We were taken there as part of a fantastic sightseeing tour conducted by Jonathan Green of JWalk Tours [tel: +1 (843) 608 1911]. Jonathan gave us a fascinating insight into the history and culture of this beautiful, historic city. We loved it.
