We had a great pack meeting last night! Thanks to the Town of James Island Mayor Brook Lyon for coming out to speak with the kids about Citizenship! The cubs also received their latest awards, and voted on a theme for the upcoming Blue & Gold Banquet, so mentally prepare for Pirates vs. Ninjas!

All Den Leaders, Leadership, and any interested parents are encouraged to attend the Palmetto District's monthly Roundtable! Please see the info from the District below:

What is Roundtable and who should come you ask? Roundtable provides all leaders in a unit with the skill to do and the will do what is needed to ensure that every member of every unit has a great Scouting experience. Roundtable builds upon the foundation provided by position-specific basic training and each leader's commitment to serving youth through Scouting. Roundtable is a great place to learn about local Scouting events, get organizational support and training, and learn helpful tips and ideas from each other.

Who should attend Roundtable? Everyone! But at least one person from each unit should attend Roundtable each month. We understand that Palmetto District is a geographically difficult district to get around so we're making it easier than ever before to attend the Palmetto District Roundtable meeting from the comfort of your own home or on the go.

It's fundraising time again! Tomorrow, Friday January 3, our Tiger Den will be manning the popcorn tent at the James Island Town Market from 6-8pm. Come out and support, and tell your family and friends! The market also hosts music, several food trucks, and local craft vendors.

Popcorn sold is delicious and locally made by Mr. Popper's Kettle Korn & Gourmet Popcorn LLC
