Door County Distillery is one of the few hand-crafted distilleries in the state of Wisconsin and the first in Door County to produce vodka, gin and fruit infused vodka. The distillery is reminiscent of the casual, pastural surroundings of Door County and showcased in the stone-barn style feel of the building's exterior, yet modern and elegant inside, showcasing the copper still and small batch, on

-site production. The Distillery is classic Door County, as are the spirits, distilled with clean, limestone infused waters from the Door Peninsula. The first series release pays homage to the waters surrounding the county featuring the doors of lighthouses located in Door County. Come visit the new distillery open daily 9:00-6:00, with complimentary tastings.

Saturday, January 11th is National Hot Toddy Day! Be sure to celebrate this weekend with a Door County Distillery Hot Toddy you can easily make at home. Check out the recipe below. Cheers!

Hot Toddy
2 oz Door County Distillery Apple Brandy
1 tbsp honey (or more to taste)
6-10 oz hot water
Cinnamon sticks
Lemon wedge

In a coffee mug or heat-proof serving glass, stir together Apple Brandy and honey. Add 1-2 cinnamon sticks. Pour hot water into glass. Garnish with lemon wedge if desired.

Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas Eve! Here’s a special featured cocktail recipe that can be made at home in two shakes of a reindeer’s tail. We hope you enjoy this fresh, festive, and boozy take on the Shirley Temple. We’ll be closed tomorrow on Christmas Day, but we’ll be back on the 26th 9 AM-5 PM. Cheers!

Santa’s Hat Cocktail
1 1/2 oz Door County Distillery Cherry Vodka
1 1/2 oz cranberry juice
1/2 oz grenadine
Lemon lime soda to fill
Whipped cream and one maraschino cherry for garnish

Pour Cherry Vodka, cranberry juice, and grenadine in a glass filled with ice. Add lemon lime soda to fill. Stir gently. Top with a cone shaped dollop of whipped cream and a maraschino cherry.

Cheers to another ! Today we’re bringing you a cocktail that celebrates America’s tastiest holiday: Thanksgiving! It’s only 3 ingredients and comes together in a snap. That’s our kind of pie. Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Pie
2 oz Barrel Finished Apple Brandy
2 oz pumpkin puree
6 dashes Spiced Cocoa bitters

Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake until chilled. Strain into martini glass. Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a dollop of whipped cream if desired.

We’ve got a new cocktail special available starting today: it’s the Gingerbread Cookie! Luminous Vodka, gingerbread syrup, ginger beer, and molasses bitters combine for a drink that tastes just like biting into a gingerbread cookie. Even more exciting, the cocktail is served in a glass gingerbread man that you get to keep! This $18 cocktail special will be available throughout November and December but quantities are limited, so be sure to stop and grab one during your next visit. Cheers!

is here! For today’s cocktail, we’re sticking with fall flavors for a Maple Bourbon Apple Cider. The Maple Bourbon brings a beautiful balance of smoke and sweet to this cocktail, and ‘s Modern Cider is packed with apple flavor. Don’t skip the fresh squeezed lemon juice; it really ties everything together. Cheers!

Maple Bourbon Apple Cider
1 1/2 oz Door County Distillery Maple Bourbon
2 oz Door Peninsula Winery Modern Cider (sweet hard apple cider)
1/4 oz pure maple syrup
1/4 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
Apple slice for garnish

Combine all ingredients in a rocks glass. Stir with a bar spoon. Add ice. Garnish with an apple slice.

Welcome to another fall ! Today’s cocktail highlights Apple Brandy in an easily made feature of fall flavors. Originally made with maple syrup, we switched it up and used sweet potato syrup and the combination is just as delicious!

This is the last weekend our Wine and Cocktail Garden will be open for the 2024 season, so be sure to stop in for your last Old Fashioned Flight or Brandy slushie of the year. We also have a few Pumpkin drink cups and Skull Punch mugs left so it’s not too late for some Halloween cocktail fun. Check our hours for the weekend in the second photo. Starting Sunday, we’ll be open at the tasting bar 9 AM-5 PM daily. Cheers!

1-2 dashes Door County Distillery Cherry Bluff Infusion
1 oz sweet potato syrup

It’s Fall Festival weekend! If you’re in Door County, stop in for a cocktail in our limited Pumpkin drink cups for only $16. These cups are plastic, hold up to 18 oz, and have with a screw top lid with hole for a straw. A Pumpkin Old Fashioned never tasted so good! Hey everyone, Happy ! We have a bonus cocktail to celebrate. This is a fall riff on the classic White Russian. It comes together quickly at home with just a few ingredients.

If you’re stopping by this weekend, be sure to try our fall Caramel Apple Sangria, made with Luminous Vodka, or any of our other vodka cocktails like S*x on the Lakeshore or Raspberry Drop. We’ll be open 9 AM-7 PM Friday and Saturday, and 9 AM-6 PM on Sunday. Cheers!

Pumpkin Spice Russian

3 oz Door County Distillery Luminous Vodka
1 1/2 oz Door County Distillery Java Infusion
1 oz pumpkin syrup
1/2 oz cream of coconut

Add all ingredients to a shaker or mixing glass. Stir with a bar spoon until combined. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.

We're back with another for you! Today's cocktail recipe is the classic Embassy, which features both our new Lucky 13 Brandy and our Spiced Rum, as well as a few dashes of Cherry Bluff Infusion. This comes together easily and the dark fruit notes blend well with the spices from the rum. If you haven't gotten our Lucky 13 Brandy yet, make it at home with our flagship Brandy or even the 10th Anniversary Brandy. Cheers!

Embassy Cocktail
3/4 oz Door County Distillery Lucky 13 Brandy
3/4 oz Door County Distillery Spiced Rum
1-2 dashes Door County Distillery Cherry Bluff Infusion
3/4 oz triple sec
1/2 oz lime juice
Lime wedge for garnish

Combine all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice. Shake until well chilled. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Today’s your lucky day! We have a new very Limited Release: Lucky 13 Brandy. Named in honor of our 13th year of Door County Distillery, this brandy was aged for six months in Syrah barrels. These barrels held the Syrah for 5 plus years before we used them for aging. This brandy is rich, smooth, and has strong notes of dark fruit. We only have about 1200 bottles total so be sure to stop in for yours soon. Cheers!
