Tonight's Beer is Craft Creations Co.
Ale Yeah Raspberry 4.4%

So, this is a new experiment from yours truly. I have not attempted a fruit beer yet and was not sure how this new recipe would turn out. I was pleasantly surprised with the results. This is a “sour” like beer. It really an ale with a tart start. It has a nice pink foam and soft raspberry aroma. The berry tart never gives way completely but does allow the beer to bring out the malt flavor nicely as it crosses over your palate, its hop presence is minimal at best. Really showcasing the raspberry which was the intent this will be a keeper!

Tonight's Beer is Goose Island IPA-5.9%
This is a smell good session IPA. It has a floral and malty aroma to start. A sweet flavor and mild hop bitterness. It has a very good head retention and is even tastier as it warms up.

I really want to thank the Eagles Fraternity for giving the picnic grounds to hold the event. Without them it would be much more challenging. They have been our biggest supporter thus far. Great thanks to the Order Aerie #1299!

Today our Brewers softball team had an amazingly fun time at the 2nd annual Beths Buddies. The bats were on fire! Thanks to Anne Kingsborough and Nick Watson for putting together the event. The Craft Creations Company Brew Crew will looking forward to next year.

Wolavers Alta Gacia Coffee Porter 12oz bottle tastes coffee up front. The flavor is strong and lasting. I have only made it halfway but I know it will stay dominate. The last sip the yeast flavor popped out a bit. Very subtle but apparent not many esters. The beer gives a full mouth and has many hidden aspects because of the heavy coffee note. A must for coffee style beer lovers a full palate beer. Personally I would love to taste the hop a bit it would balance the coffee nicely but not the point here I think.

$$$$$$$$ - Not sure another from Seth's beer cellar. My estimate $46.50/case.
MMMMMM - I like this beer alot. It is calling me to finish it. Unfiltered, sweet, smooth, full flavored and bottle conditioned.
WHY - Its labeled appropriately. If you like coffee beers its a must!!

Plowshare Porter 16oz can is a good beer from pop to bottom. You get a very slight chocolate malty aroma before the first cold sip. When the soft creamy brown head hits your lips and tongue the body screams drink more now. The chocolate taste dominates but reserves of black, caramel and crystal malt float around while waiting for the ever so slight bitter flavor. These beers are thirst quenching especially cold. If you are looking for some great subtle flavors serve her a little warm and sip slow.

$$$$$$$$ - These were about $50 dollars a case and had to get Stan's to find a wholesaler who carried them.
MMMMMM - Seth and I agree its just good beer. Its great a dark beer that feels and tastes light. If your around Danville, PA stop and grab a case.
WHY - Met the brewers parents at Meeting of the Malts in March sponsored by the Brewers of Pennsylvania.
