Right here sitting on the rotary in the little New England town of Carlisle, Massachusetts proudly stands Ferns Country Store, an establishment that has continued the tradition of there being a country store on this very site since the 1844 when life was simpler, the air fresher, people had time to ponder and friends had time to stop and chat awhile.

I just had the most awesome experience at our lovely little country store. I had just been to Stop and Shop and was driving home when I realized I had forgotten chili sauce, a main ingredient for the meatballs I wanted to make. I ran into Ferns hoping that they might have chili sauce and ended up talking to Cesar, Jess and Naomi. While Jess ran to see if they had chili sauce, Cesar and Naomi kept me occupied with fun conversation. When Jess came back, she told me that the store does not sell chili sauce but she had googled a homemade recipe I could make. When I told her I had everything but the tomato sauce, she then offered to give me a cup of tomato sauce from their kitchen. When I told them all that they had gone "way beyond the call of duty", they said, that they were just happy to help.

An amazing customer service experience right here in Carlisle! Huge kudos to Ferns management for hiring such wonderful young people and for fostering a helpful and caring attitude in all their employees. We are so lucky to have them!
Any entertainment this Labor Day weekend?
What a place, what a team! We made a wine presentation in this lovely place in a sunny day. Good music, good food, nice people attending. Very good wine and beer sortiment.
