12 drinks of Christmas 🎄

Day 12 Lambrusco Smash

Ingredients:
Ice
2oz. Lambrusco
1 3/4oz. Fresh orange juice
1oz. Ginger beer
1 oz. Mezcal
Orange peel for garnish

Instructions:
1. Fill a large old-fashioned or rocks glass with ice. Add Lambrusco, orange juice, ginger beer, and mezcal. Stir until combined and chilled, 2 to 3 seconds. Garnish with orange peel. Drink!

Day 11 Spiked Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:
2tbsp. Unsweetened cocoa powder
3cups whole or nut milk, divided
4oz. 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/4cup bourbon
2tbsp. Kahlua
1tsp. Pure vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. Kosher salt
Whipped cream, for topping
Marshmallows, for topping optional

Instructions:
1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk cocoa powder and 1/4 cup milk until combined, then whisk in remaining 2 3/4 cups milk. Once the mixture is hot but not simmering, whisk in chocolate and stir until melted and smooth. Stir in whiskey, kalhua, vanilla, and salt until combined.
2. Divide hot chocolate amoung mugs. Top with whipped cream and Marshmallows, if using. Drink!

Day 10 Cherry-Lime Margarita

Ingredients:
1 lime wedge
Finely grated lime zest, for rim
Kosher salt
1 1/2oz. Tequila blanco
1/2oz. Concentrated cherry juice
1/2oz. Fresh lime juice
1/2oz. Maraschino cherry syrup from jar
1/2oz. Triple sec
Ice
Lime slices and maraschino cherries, for serving

Instructions:
1. Rub the rim of a margarita glass with lime wedge. Mix lime zest and salt on a shallow plate. Roll rim of glass in lime zest mixture until coated.
2. In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, cherry juice, lime juice, maraschino cherry syrup, and triple sec. Fill shaker with ice, cover, and vigorously shake until outside of shaker is very frosty, about 20 seconds.
3. Fill the prepared glass with more ice. Strain margarita into glass. Garnish with lime slice and maraschino cherry.

Day 9 Hot Claus

Ingredients:
2 slices orange, plus more for serving
2 3" sticks cinnamon, plus more for serving
1 star anise pod, plus more for serving
2oz. Cranberry juice
1 bag red zinger tea
1 1/2oz. Bourbon
1oz. Pure maple syrup
1/2oz. Campari
1/2oz sweet vermouth
Fresh cranberries, for serving, optional

Instructions:
1. In a small pot over medium heat, bring orange slices, cinnamon, star anise, cranberry juice and 2oz. Water to a boil. Remove from heat and add tea bag. Let it steep for 4 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, in a heatproof glass or mug, combine bourbon, maple syrup, campari, and vermouth. Slowly strain tea into glass and stir to combine. Garnish with more orange slices, cinnamon, and star anise. Drink!

Day 8 Eggnog Espresso Martini

Ingredients:
Chopped chocolate, for rim
Crushed peppermint candies, for rim
1oz. Vodka
1oz. Coffee or Espresso liqueur
1oz. Brewed Espresso or cold brew concentrate
2 1/2oz. Eggnog
A few drops of peppermint extract, optional
Cocoa powder, for serving, optional

Instructions:
1. Heat a handful of chopped chocolate on a small plate in the microwave just until melted, about 20 seconds. Press the rim of a martini glass into the chocolate, then into the crushed mint candies.
2. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add the vodka, coffee liqueur, Espresso, eggnog, and peppermint extract, if using. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds.
3. Strain into prepared glass, dust with cocoa, if using, and serve immediately. Drink!

On the seventh day of Christmas we made a Figgy Spritz

Ingredients:
Fig syrup:
1/2cup Granulated sugar
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp fig spread

Cocktail:
1 bottle prosecco or sparkling wine
4oz. Elderflower liqueur
Ice cubes
4oz. Club soda
1 to 2 figs, sliced
Rosemary sprigs for garnish

Instructions:
Fig syrup:
1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, cook sugar, water, and Fig spread stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened amd sugar is dissolved, 5 to 7 minutes. Let cool.

Cocktail:
1. In a large pitcher, combine prosecco, elderflower liqueur, and 2oz Fig syrup. Fill with ice. Top off with club soda.
2. Pour spritz into wine glasses. Garnish with figs and rosemary. Drink!

On sixth day if Christmas we made Cranberry Palomas.

Ingredients:
Granulated sugar, for rim
1 grapefruit wedge
Ice
2 1/2 oz. Cranberry juice cocktail
2oz. Blanco or reposado tequila
1 1/2oz. Fresh grapefruit juice
Soda water, for topping off
Grapefruit twist amd fresh cranberries, for garnish

Instructions:
1.Pour some sugar onto a small plate. Rub one side of a collins glass with grapefruit wedge, then dip into sugar, turning to coat.
2. Fill the prepared glass with ice. Add Cranberry juice cocktail, tequila, and grapefruit juice. Top off with club soda and gently stir with a bar spoon. Garnish with grapefruit twist and cranberries. Drink!

Ingredients:
5oz. Hot Earl Grey Tea
1 1/2oz. Gin
1/2oz. Campari
1/2oz. Sweet vermouth
1/4oz. Pure maple syrup
Orange wheel and star anise, for garnish

Instructions:
1. In a small pot, bring 1cup water to boil. Remove from heat and add tea. Let it steep for 2 minutes. Remove bags or strain leaves.
2. In a mug, combine Gin, campari, vermouth, and syrup. Top off with tea and stir to combine. Garnish with orange wheel and star anise. Drink!

On the fourth day of Christmas we made white cranberry cosmos.

Ingredients:
1 1/2oz. Vodka
1 1/2oz. White cranberry juice
1/2oz. Cointreau
1/2oz. Fresh lime juice
Ice
1 fresh rosemary sprig, optional
3 fresh or candied cranberries, skewered, optional

Instructions:
1. In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, cranberry juice, cointreau, and lime juice. Fill shaker with ice, cover, and vigorously shake until the outside of shaker is very frosty, about 20 seconds.
2. Strain into a coupe or martini glass. Garnish with rosemary and cranberries, if using. Drink!

On the third day of Christmas we made yule mules.

Ingredients:
1 2" sprig fresh rosemary, plus more for serving
1 2" orange peel
1 1/2oz. Vodka
Ice
1 1/2oz. Fresh orange juice
1oz. Unsweetened cranberry juice
Ginger beer, for topping off
Orange wedge and fresh cranberries, for garnish

Instructions:
1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle rosemary sprig and orange peel to release oils. Add Vodka and muddle until combined and fragrant, about 30 seconds.
2. Strain into an ice-filled copper mug. Add orange juice and cranberry juice and stir until cocktail is cold and condensation forms on outside of cup, about 30 seconds.
3. Top off with ginger beer. Garnish with orange wedge, cranberries, and rosemary sprig. Drink!

12 drinks of Christmas 🎄

On the second day of Christmas we made a partridge in a pear tree.
Ingredients:
1/4c honey
1/4c water
1/8tsp ground cinnamon
1/8tsp ground ginger
Pinch of grated fresh nutmeg
4oz bourbon
2oz pear brandy
1 1/2oz fresh lemon juice
Ice
Sparkling pear hard cider, for topping off
Thinly sliced pears and candied ginger, for serving, optional
Instructions:
1.In a small sauce pan over medium heat, bring honey, water, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg to a boil. Remove from heat. Let steep for 15 minutes, then strain through a fine-mesh strainer into a small measuring cup or bowl.
2. In a cocktail shaker, combine bourbon, brandy, lemon juice, and 2oz honey syrup. Cover and vigorously shake until the outside of the shaker is very frosty, about 20 seconds. Taste and add more syrup or lemon juice if needed.
3. Divide Bourbon mixture between 2 glasses. Fill glasses with ice, then top off with pear cider. Garnish with pear slices and candied ginger, if using. Drink!

12 Drinks of Christmas 🎄

On the first day of Christmas we made Rum Rum Rudolphs.
Ingredients:
1 sprig fresh rosemary
1 maraschino cherry
Ice
4oz. Coca cola
2oz. White or dark Rum
1 1/2 oz. Tart cherry juice
Instructions:
1. Cut rosemary sprig into 2 2" pieces. Strip leaves from the bottom half of each piece. Poke 2 holes on top of maraschino cherry with a toothpick. Insert rosemary sprigs into each hole. Insert toothpick through the cherry, slightly askew from the center to avoid the pit.
2. Fill a collins glass with ice, then add coca-cola, Rum, and cherry juice. Gently stir to combine then garnish with prepared cherry. Drink!
