Day 12 Lambrusco Smash

Ingredients:
Ice
2oz. Lambrusco
1 3/4oz. Fresh orange juice
1oz. Ginger beer
1 oz. Mezcal
Orange peel for garnish

Instructions:
1. Fill a large old-fashioned or rocks glass with ice. Add Lambrusco, orange juice, ginger beer, and mezcal. Stir until combined and chilled, 2 to 3 seconds. Garnish with orange peel. Drink!

12 drinks of Christmas 🎄

Day 11 Spiked Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:
2tbsp. Unsweetened cocoa powder
3cups whole or nut milk, divided
4oz. 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/4cup bourbon
2tbsp. Kahlua
1tsp. Pure vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. Kosher salt
Whipped cream, for topping
Marshmallows, for topping optional

Instructions:
1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk cocoa powder and 1/4 cup milk until combined, then whisk in remaining 2 3/4 cups milk. Once the mixture is hot but not simmering, whisk in chocolate and stir until melted and smooth. Stir in whiskey, kalhua, vanilla, and salt until combined.
2. Divide hot chocolate amoung mugs. Top with whipped cream and Marshmallows, if using. Drink!

12 drinks of Christmas 🎄

Day 10 Cherry-Lime Margarita

Ingredients:
1 lime wedge
Finely grated lime zest, for rim
Kosher salt
1 1/2oz. Tequila blanco
1/2oz. Concentrated cherry juice
1/2oz. Fresh lime juice
1/2oz. Maraschino cherry syrup from jar
1/2oz. Triple sec
Ice
Lime slices and maraschino cherries, for serving

Instructions:
1. Rub the rim of a margarita glass with lime wedge. Mix lime zest and salt on a shallow plate. Roll rim of glass in lime zest mixture until coated.
2. In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, cherry juice, lime juice, maraschino cherry syrup, and triple sec. Fill shaker with ice, cover, and vigorously shake until outside of shaker is very frosty, about 20 seconds.
3. Fill the prepared glass with more ice. Strain margarita into glass. Garnish with lime slice and maraschino cherry.

Day 9 Hot Claus

Ingredients:
2 slices orange, plus more for serving
2 3" sticks cinnamon, plus more for serving
1 star anise pod, plus more for serving
2oz. Cranberry juice
1 bag red zinger tea
1 1/2oz. Bourbon
1oz. Pure maple syrup
1/2oz. Campari
1/2oz sweet vermouth
Fresh cranberries, for serving, optional

Instructions:
1. In a small pot over medium heat, bring orange slices, cinnamon, star anise, cranberry juice and 2oz. Water to a boil. Remove from heat and add tea bag. Let it steep for 4 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, in a heatproof glass or mug, combine bourbon, maple syrup, campari, and vermouth. Slowly strain tea into glass and stir to combine. Garnish with more orange slices, cinnamon, and star anise. Drink!
