Founded by Pierre Tilquin in early 2009, Gueuzerie Tilquin is a blendery in Bierghes, a borough of Rebecq located approximately 30 kilometers south-west of Brussels. Tilquin is the only lambic blendery in the mainly French-speaking, southern region of Wallonia. It opened its doors to the public in the summer of 2011. Here are some of their awesome beers that we have in stock!
- Gueuzerie Tilquin "Stout Rullquin" Lambic Ale, a mixed fermentation, the Stout Rullquin is obtained from a blending of 7/8 of Rulles Brune (Stout de Gaume) and 1/8 of a blend of 1 year old lambics, which has matured for 8 months on oak barrels. Unfiltered and unpasteurized, this beer is refermented for 6 months in the bottle.
- Gueuzerie Tilquin "Oude Quetsche Tilquin à L'Ancienne" Lambic with a minimum of 200 grams of plums added per liter.
-Gueuzerie Tilquin "Oude Gueuze Tilquin à L'Ancienne" Lambic, a gueuze blended from Boon, Lindemans, Girardin, and Cantillon lambic. It is typically comprised of 50% one-year old lambic, 30% two-year old lambic, and 20% three-year old lambic.
- Gueuzerie Tilquin "Oude Mûre Tilquin à l'Ancienne" Lambic with 260 grams of blackberries added per liter.
