Hot Buttered Rum gained popularity as a traditional winter drink in the U.S. during the 19th and 20th centuries, and it's still a favorite comfort beverage today. 🫶

This cheat version cuts out all the measuring and extra spices while still delivering that buttery, spiced goodness! Enjoy with minimal effort! ✨

1. Heat the Liquid: Boil about 6oz of water in your kettle or microwave- set aside.
2. Assemble in a Mug: Add 1 tbsp butter and 1 tsp brown sugar to your mug.
3. Add Rum: Pour in 2 oz of dark or spiced rum.
4. Pour in Hot Water: Carefully pour the hot water over the butter and sugar mixture and stir until it dissolves. If you like extra flavor, sprinkle in a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg.
5. Enjoy! Stir and sip on your easy, cozy hot buttered rum!

It’s happening!

We have an exciting message for our family, friends, and community: 2020 has brought all sorts of changes for many people. While our change has been in the works for some time now, it's time to formally announce that we are opening The PARK Wine & Spirits!! 🍾 It has been a vision of ours as we have moved away from the corporate world and have chosen to become entrepreneurs! Our family's history has taken us to some fun places- however, Broomfield, Colorado has been our home for 8 years and we are excited to be growing even deeper roots. ✨ Family owned, and soon to operated, The PARK Wine & Spirits will be the newest one-stop shop for all of your beverage needs with a vast variety of beer, wine and spirits, plus some food selections and other merchandise. We are excited to join the community at the intersection of the Northwest Parkway and US 36 (the Boulder Turnpike) - 11410 Via Varra to be exact! Obviously, our grand opening plan isn’t shaping up as we expected, 🤷🏻‍♀️ however given the current situation of our world, we feel very grateful and blessed to be able to move forward and become a pillar in our home community.
