Day 12 Dry January !
After so many days of not drinking. You may be feeling the pressure. Especially because alcohol is everywhere you turn.
The days when I think I want to drink.
I start to really think about the why do I think I need a drink? Maybe it’s because it’s been a long week. Or maybe a really bad day. Or whatever it is, I try to come up with different solutions too. Well a message will feel good and help take away tension. Or going to sit in a hot tub will feel nice.
I think of more questions for myself to really know where I stand. How many drinks will that turn into? (Really) How much money do I have ? Am I driving? What is going on tomorrow? Do I really want to feel tired and crappy ? I let my thoughts ponder. They remind me that I don’t want to take that drink. Listen to yourself. Feel yourself, know yourself.

My drink today is non alcoholic Corona. I am watching the football game today and want a beer with it 😄
