Our team took a trip to the old forester distillery in Louisville, KY, to pick our November single barrel whiskey: Old Forester Barrel Proof Single Barrel. It will be available to purchase just in time for thanksgiving [this weekend]! Below is some information for the release.
1. Nov 22, Friday, 6 PM - 9 PM, AFFTON Location: Invitation-Only Release Event [$35/person] for 24 of our top Whiskey Club guests [between all locations]. Event will be held at our Affton location. Attendees will get an old forester whiskey flight [pours of two different single barrels and 1924] , and get to purchase a bottle per ticket per person of this single barrel pick. There will be Old Forester limited release pours and cocktail available at the bar for a special pricing for the night. If we have extra tickets, we will post it on our social media.
2. Nov 23, Saturday: In-store release at store opening. Due to the limited stock, purchases will be limited to one bottle per household. Each store will have its own stock and will serve guests on first come first serve basis. There is no rush to check out immediately once you get your bottle though, our team will be happy to hold it for you while you get your thanksgiving shopping completed, enjoy the company, and get a drink or two. We’ll be offering a special Old Forester flights throughout the day. Feel free to sip while you shop! Supporting local this season helps us bring more one-of-a-kind barrels to our stores. Cheers! 🥃
