The locally-owned Local Market and Liquor Shed in Breckenridge are open for business. We carry a selection of grocery necessity items including milk, pasta, cereal, canned goods, paper goods, etc.

This week (today through next Friday March 27th) we would like to offer an employee discount of 25% on any perishable items in our store expiring through the end of April, which would include items like milk, some cheese, some chips, cookies, orange juice, etc. that will be expiring in the next 6 weeks. We will also be planning to donate to a local resource. We do not want to simply throw it away when there are so many people finding it difficult to obtain basic groceries some of which we have a lot of in stock currently. As another example, for those of you that know and love Scanga Meat Co., we recently got bacon from them so that will be included in the 25% discount.

We are not crowded and should there be a time when lots of customers come at the same time, and we will be limiting the number of people in the store out of safety concerns. We will also gladly offer curbside pickup on any items sale or not in either the local market or the liquor shed. Give us a call at 970-453-3091 and we would get together items on your wishlist that we have, pay by phone, and we would bring it out to your car.

We will be considering other ways to be involved with our community and will be posting them here.
