We hope everyone is getting around the best you can with the bridge being closed. Just a reminder, we are still trying to stock the store with what you need. Stop by to check it out! If we don’t have it let us know and we will order it.

Weekenders would like to wish all our customers and surrounding area a Merry Christmas. We hope everyone is doing well during what we will call Bridge-magedon 2024. Just a quick update:

We are doing our best to stock the store for reopening tomorrow. We can’t be a full grocery store but we will have a lot of new items that you may need that will save you time and gas money. We will also be adding more items according to requests and needs as we go.

In order to help the community we will try offering free delivery to any elderly or disabled individuals from the west side of the bridge down to Pielers pier. If anyone is in need please have them contact us.

With travel being limited we are considering a New Years Eve get together at the store. Details coming soon!

A special thank you to Texas Division of Emergency Management for deploying an EMS strike force. This team will provide emergency services to our citizens west of the “mile long bridge.“

We were just informed the mile long bridge across the lake is closed for repairs until approximately January 5th. If you are on the west side of the bridge Weekenders would like to be here for you during the inconvenience. We will be at your service for any needs you may have. If there is anything you would like to see available at the store please let us know to save you time and gas money. We are closed until Tuesday December 26th for Christmas, reopening Tuesday the 26th 7 days a week.
