We are lovers of old world wine, small vineyards, and all things delicious. Our doors are open! The Wine Bottega stands in defense of real wine.

Whether organic, biodynamic, natural, or otherwise, real wine is borne of the land. We are inspired by the farmers who break their backs for the benefit of their vines and use a gentle hand to guide the ancient act of fermentation. As a result, each bottle holds more than just fermented grape juice, it holds the story of the land and the people who created it. We look forward to sharing those stories with you.

Our Friday tasting lineup! 🍷 Come on over this Friday from 5-8 to taste a couple of eclectic and tasty selections from : a racy Tuscan white blend, a gorgeous Roero Arneis (one of our favorite white grapes!) as well as a crowd-pleasing Sangiovese and finally a Cab Franc blend from the Côtes du Marmandais, a lesser-known satellite village of Bordeaux.

For this week’s Friday tasting, we’re going full Umbria 🍷🇮🇹 Vito from will be pouring four brand new Italian wines: a delightful Trebbiano, an Umbrian red blend, a classic Grechetto, and finally a Ciliegiolo — a grape that while not widely known, has a history of being planted in Umbria dating back to the 1200s.

Join us 5-8 this Friday for a break from the cold and some delicious Italian wines ❄️

Our LAST TASTING of 2024 is imminent! We’re grateful to be closing out the year with four wonderful wines: a prickly Touraine Sauvignon Blanc, a bouncy Montsant Garnatxa, a 1L Tuscan blend (made by famed winemaker Elisabetta Foradori), and — of course — a grower Champagne worthy of a midnight saber. As always, 5-8 PM, Friday.

🍷Friday Night Tasting🍷 12/6/24 5PM-6PM

We are EXCITED for this Friday!! This week we’ll be featuring wines from the island of Pico located in the Acores of the coast of Portugal 🇵🇹

Pico wines are some of our new favorites in the shop. On Friday we’ll be tasting four selections from our friends . A white and two reds from Terra’s de Lava and a delicious Verdelho from Ilha Do Pico.

Escape from the cold and live the island life with us this Friday! See you then!

So nice to have a visit from Silvano Bolmida yesterday in the shop!

I’ve recently fallen in love with his wines. He practices true organic and biodynamic wine making. It was fascinating to hear about his practices from the man himself!

Currently we have his Barbera d’Alba ‘Conca Del Grillo’ and his 2016 Barolo Bussia Riserva in stock. Two truly delicious wines for a very reasonable price!

It’s that time of year again… The BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU has arrived!!

This year we have three delicious options that belong on your Thanksgiving table to share with your family and friends.

Beaujolais Nouveau Day is marked in France on the third Thursday in November with fireworks, music and festivals. Under French law, the wine is released at 12:01 a.m., just weeks after the wine’s grapes have been harvested. Parties are held throughout the country and further afield to celebrate the first wine of the season… and it happens to pair very well with all the Thanksgiving accoutrements 🦃🍷🥧

Although its in and available today, tomorrow, We’ll have an open bottle of each so you can pick your favorite! So come on bu and get yours!

🍷Tasting Update Friday 11/15 5pm-8pm🍷

In addition to our National Tempranillo Day tasting Thursday 6pm-8pm with we will be having our usual Friday night tasting as well!

We are taking a deep dive in Spain 🇪🇸 this week! Thursday we’ll be in Ribera Del Duero, Friday we’ll shift over to Manchuela.

Manchuela is a large wine region in the eastern part of Castilla-La Mancha, a land-locked autonomous community in central Spain. Manchuela borders Utiel-Requena and Valencia in the east, Ribera del Jucar and La Mancha in the west and Almansa in the south.

The wines we’ll be tasting Friday are some really price friendly options that would make great additions to your Thanksgiving day table! From A chillable Bobal, a skin contact (Orange) Macabeo and a lights out Pet-Nat made from the illusive grape Moravia Agria. So good…

Next week we’ll be getting a little fancier with an all growers champagne tasting!

🍷Special Tasting Event this Thursday🍷

International Tempranillo Day is celebrated on the second Thursday of November each year. I know, it seems like theres a holiday for everything these days, but if it’s a holiday revolving around some majorly badass wine we’re not complaining!

This Thursday from 6pm-8pm we will be joined by from . Veronica will be pouring some amazing Tempranillos from Ribera Del Duero. Having tasted these wines, we can assure you they are delicious and not to be missed!

So come join us and get your Tempranillo on! The event is totally free/first come first serve. Bring a friend, bring the family, just bring it! Oh and there may be a Paella 🥘 from for you to pair with this wonderful lineup of wines.. (there 100% will be!)

🍷Wine Tasting Friday 11/8/24 5PM-8PM🍷

Join us this Friday to explore some amazing wines from Madeira! Madeira is an island off the coast of Portugal 🇵🇹 and is often referred to as “The Hawaii of Europe.” Not only is it staggeringly beautiful they produce some incredibly unique wines.

We’ll be joined by Zachary Cantania of who will be pouring three wines from Madeira and one red blend from the Douro Valley which comes from mainland Portugal.

This will be a fun one! We cant wait to see you there!

Happy Mothers Day to all the moms out there! Parenthood is not for the lighthearted. So be sure to take the time to let all the moms in your life know how loved and appreciated they are!

Happy merry to you all, whether Christmas, another holiday or just a day of rest. If you are working, and our thoughts go to all those in healthcare work, and general service right now (food, shipping, fellow retail, anyone and everyone required to risk their health) we will never be able to thank you enough. Too much has been asked of you. And to our guests, a deep thank you for your support, kindness and laughter during this terrible year. We will continue to march on and lift one another up until we can reach the other side. Great unconditional love to you all.

We’ve got run offs that could change the course of history and we have policy that we need to make sure people show up for. And we have only gotten here to this moment due to a lot of hard work by a lot of people organizing and donating their time. Today we are closed, we’re closed every Monday during the crisis. Of course today we honor the memory of those who have died in war. I have always thought of the incredible sacrifices that have been made to be staggering and in spirit awe inspiring. We can all learn from the lesson of being willing to put an idea that is bigger than you first. As we all make sacrifices together to keep those we know, and those we do not, safe. When you stay home it is an act of love. When you wear a mask, whether or not you may think it’s absolutely necessary at that moment, it is an act of love. When you support a small business that can’t operate safely with the public coming inside, that is an act of love. When you say no to a party even though you want to scratch your eyeballs out because you have been hanging out with the same person for months, it is an act of love. Be brave. Stay strong. Think of those who have died for us to be able to make these choices. ❤️🙏
