Tasting News!! Friday 9/20 5pm-8pm 🍷

This Friday we’ll be featuring some of our favorite everyday selections from 🦏!

If you’ve ever asked for any suggestions in the shop, it’s more than likely that we’ve recommended at least one of the wines we’ll be featuring Friday.

As enthusiastic as we are about the wines and love talking about them we figured why not bring in the La Spinetta Foregin Sales Manager to talk about the wines. Elisa has been working with Spinetta since 2014.

Hey there!

As we’re getting geared up for our fancy tasting Saturday with Chiara Boschis and Claudia Cigliuti we can’t forget about our weekly Friday Night Tasting from 5PM-8PM! 🍷

This week we’re going to be featuring three wines from ! 👽🛸Bonny Doon has been around since the early eighties spearheaded by winemaking pioneer Randall Graham.

A few months back we had the pleasure of having Randall in the shop. It was lovely chatting with him about his wines and other projects.

Randall won’t be here this Friday, but either .veader or I will be pouring for you guys. So get your weekend started by tasting some delicious California wines at a very reasonable price!

PS: If you’re familiar with Bonny Doon you’ll get all the UFO references. If not, another reason to come down and check out these wines!!

We’ve got some exciting news for you guys this week! In addition to our usual Friday night tasting, this week we’ll be featuring a special SATURDAY tasting!

We will humbly be joined by two incredible women in the wine world! and .

The wines that we’ll be featuring are truly special. We’ll be featuring two Barbarescos and a Langhe Chardonnay from and three stunning Barolos from .

We absolutely can’t wait to host these wine legends in the Wine Bottega. The Event starts at 6PM and runs until 8PM. No tickets necessary, just show up and treat yourself to a wine experience you won’t forget! 🍷

This week we’ll be featuring an all Italian lineup from our friends at Vine Farmer!

Two great options from one of our favorite producers .vini that are budget friendly and delicious.

In addition to that we have an Orange Trebbiano from .wines and a Rosso Di Montalcino from . Both this wines are stunning and have labels that give off some serious GoT vibes.

This week’s tasting theme: wines that scream “Je réjouis les coeurs!” (I gladden the heart.) This Friday, Anja from will be behind the counter pouring four brand-new wines that are sure to gladden your heart.

For the whites: a flinty Sauvignon Blanc from Pouilly-Fume, a rarely-seen Beaujolais Blanc (made from Chardonnay), and a Vouvray Chenin Blanc that will make you say “why don’t I drink Chenin Blanc more often?”

For the red: a chillable, gluggable, yet poised and structured Grignolino from Asti, Piedmont.

Grab a friend and come by from 5-8 PM!

🔔 Friday Tasting Alert! 🔔 This week we are happy to welcome Aurora from Ethica Wines to pour some excellent Italian selections. We’ll be exploring a summer Sauvignon blend from the Veneto; a chillable Pinot Nero from one of the highest-altitude wineries in Italy at roughly 700 meters; a classic Tuscan blend; and, because all roads lead to Rome, a beautiful Semillon/Malvasia blend from Lazio.

We want to wish you all a Happy Independence Day 🇺🇸 🎇 🍷 ‼️ Just a reminder that tomorrow we will be open from 11am-3pm in case anyone needs to grab anything on the way to their party destinations.

Also, people have been asking if we’ll be doing our wine tasting on Friday. The answer is Yes… kinda. We will have some bottles open upstairs for anyone who wants to taste. We haven’t yet decided which ones but we promise they’ll be delicious! And of course 10% off.

🚨Friday Night Tasting Alert 🚨 6/28/24 5PM-8PM

We’ve got quite a colorful lineup for you guys this Friday. Some great selections from France 🇫🇷 and a lone wine from Austria 🇦🇹 I feel like we’re covering all the bases here. Without going into great detail A light crisp white, a slightly weightier white, a delicious rosé (with a stunning color) and for all you dedicated red drinkers a red that will knock your socks off!

Pouring for you guys is our friend Kelly Coggins!! I would have tagged him but Instagram told me that Kelly is selective about who he lets tag him. Oh well.. Maybe we can ask him about that Friday after he educates us on these amazing wines.

Good Lawd it’s HOT 🥵!!! Looks like we’re having a bit of a hot week, and boy are we parched! This Friday we’ll have the AC cranked (to the best of its ability) and we’ll be joined by our friend from ! Anja, will be pouring some dynamite wines that will be great thirst quenchers to cool you off this weekend.

We’ve got a white and a red from and two rosés. One from and another from .sanquilico. Different shades of rosé but both equally delicious!

We hope you all had a great Memorial Day Weekend! This Friday we have a special tasting for you! For the first time our very own beautiful will be pouring for you guys. Ani has an exciting lineup of refreshing whites and a house favorite red for you to try.

- We love our Grüner Veltliner so it’s a no brainer that we’d feature refreshing and peppery GV from Josef Ehmoser.

- Vigno Branco is a Portuguese white blend (50% Encruzodo 35% Bicol 15% Cerceol) that is fresh, fruity, mineral white from
