This International Women’s Day, we want to honor and celebrate our friend and Director of Operations, Emily Genevich! Emily has been an invaluable asset to BRIX for an incredible ten years! She is the heartbeat of our operations and her unwavering dedication to BRIX has been instrumental in our success over the years.

The “Queen of Processes,” she loves a good rosé and can’t resist a glass of Grüner. She’s always up for a sporting event and knows almost every word to every song. She’s a true team player and it’s a privilege to work side-by-side with her.

Emily, thank you for everything you do! You are our Third Musketeer!

Let’s hear it for the girls! We’re celebrating Women’s History Month with a six pack of sips from female winemakers and owners. Raise a glass on International Women’s Day (March 8th) with a vibrant Chardonnay from Stephanie Ramé or try a refreshing Vermentino from Lazio. Our four reds remind us that though warmer weather is coming… it is still March. Uncork Sarah Goedhart’s Washington state blend with a hearty stew or toast with Tempranillo from Ruth de Andrés. Our favorite hard cheese is back just in time for Cheese Lover’s Day!

Mont Vully Noir is a stunning
raw cow’s milk cheese from Switzerland. Once the cheese is made, each wheel gets soaked in a brine for 24 hours and then matures in the cellar for at least 10 weeks. As wheels mature, they’re lovingly washed several times a week with a Pinot Noir from the slopes of Mount Vully.

Soft, with a delicate texture, it makes a decadent grilled cheese sandwich.

Raj Peter Bhakta, founder of WhistlePig Whiskey, returns to rye! Being called, “Whiskey Perfected,” BHAKTA Spirits announced yesterday the national debut of their new flagship spirit, Bhakta 1928. And you can taste it!

On Thursday, October 26th, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at BRIX Financial District, come experience history in a bottle at this special event.

Led by Bhakta’s Johnathan Page, learn about Raj’s entrance into the spirits industry, the rise of WhistlePig, and his successive acquisition of the largest and oldest collection of spirits in the world.
