Hello Ray,

I’m not sure if you remember me but I was a scholarship receipt of the Margaret Hill Scholarship back in 2019.

I graduated early from Sonoma State with a bachelors in Sociology. I completed the 4 years of school in just 2 1/2 years.

Now, February of 2024 I am officially a social worker.

I wanted to extend a big thank you from the bottom of my heart because without scholarships like yours, this would not have been possible.

I am hope to continue to carry traits that Peggy embodied into my future.

Again, thank you.

Best Regards,
Daysee Magana-Herrera

Our Foundation's motto is "Serving our Community". We embarked on a project to make sure Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) were placed at key public gathering locations in Bodega Bay. We purchased AEDs for the Grange and Community Center. We also purchased pediatric electrodes for two AEDs at the Bodega Bay School.

Kudos to Rev. Pat Parks at the Bodega Bay Church. He had all in order!

A big shout out "thank you" to Dr. George Flores of Bodega Bay CERT who has volunteered to conduct orientations for the staff at the Community Center and Grange.
