Thanks to all for the interest in our Italian wine classes. The second class is now full. We will be scheduling more classes in May and June over the next couple of weeks. We look forward to seeing you and discussing the various countries and regions we will look at. There is still room in the bubbly class being run throough Heartland Community College. THis will be HEAPS of fun and we'll be tasting some fantastic wines beyond Champagne! Sign up is through Heartland Continuing Education. Cheers

During my 10 years on the road with the winery in NZ, I loved days like today. The perfect wine sampling day and a chance to find a space with great wine and free wi-fi. Nothing better than a warm spot with a few wine samples while catching up on life! The Sampling Tavern is open from noon - 6.30 Tuesday through Saturday and open on Sundays.

Brilliant afternoon to sample some wines and enjoy our new Italian Platter with fresh Bufala Mozarella from Campania and Parma Prosciutto from Emilia-Romagna. Compare your choice of Spanish whites, Italian Whites, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay along with some new reds to hit the shelves. Sampling Tavern is open until 6.30pm, we close at 7pm.

Methode Champenoise. Metodo Classico. Traditional Method. Spumante. Charmat. All of these terms refer to different ways to make bubbly and we'll look at these as well as Cava, Prosecco and other sparkling items at our wine class on 'Everything Beyond Champagne' that we are hosting through Heartland Community College. If you love bubbles and want to understand the difference between a Blanc de Noir and a Blanc de Blanc, this is a good one for you! Sign up at the Heartland Continuing Education portal
