Nothing says Valentine's Day more than sweets and the color pink. The Pink Squirrel cocktail was initially made due to a bartender's boredom and is now considered a Valentine's Day classic. Try out this recipe using ingredients from Highland, and let us know how you like it!

The Pink Squirrel 🩷
3/4 oz Disaronno Amaretto
3/4 oz Creme de Cacao Blanc
1 1/2 oz Heavy Cream
Freshly Grated Nutmeg
Luxardo USA Maraschino Cherries

Add amaretto, white creme de cacao, and heavy cream into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake until well-chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with freshly grated nutmeg and some cherries. Enjoy!

Hosting for the game? This Shandy Beer Cocktail will be a crowd-pleaser that you can prepare ahead of time. This cocktail has something for everyone, with the use of Golden Ale and Vodka, with a hint of agave nectar. Let us know if you try it out!

Shandy Beer Cocktail 🍻
4 bottles of Kona Big Wave
1/3 cup Master of Mixes Lemon Juice
1 tsp Grated Ginger
1 handful Mint Leaves
1/4 cup Tres Agaves
6 oz Deep Eddy Vodka Orignal Vodka
*or sub lemon juice and original vodka for Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka

Combine your lemon juice, beer, ginger, vodka, and agave nectar in a pitcher and mix well. Garnish with slices of lemon and mint leaves, and serve.

he Super Bowl is almost a week away, and a is the perfect drink for watching the big game (or recovering the morning after 😉.) Try it out with ingredients from Highland, and let us know what you think!

Michelada 🌶️
*makes two glasses
Ingredients:
1 tbsp Salt
3/4 tbsp Tajin
4 Lime Wedges
2/3 cup Clamato
12 oz Modelo USA
1/4 cup Master of Mixes Lime Juice
4 drops Soy Sauce
4 drops Hot Sauce
4 drops Worcestershire Sauce

Mix salt and Tajin in a small bowl and rim two glasses. Fill both glasses halfway with ice cubes. Divide the tomato juice, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and hot sauce evenly into the glasses. Top both drinks evenly with beer and adjust the spice to taste. Lastly, garnish with a lime wedge, and enjoy!

Have you heard of this lunar-inspired cocktail? Joe Gilmore created The Moonwalk cocktail to commemorate the 1969 moon landing. He combined champagne, grapefruit juice, rose water, and orange liqueur to create a bubbly, sparkling cocktail fit for an astronaut. Stories claim that the drink was served to Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Micheal Collins when they returned to Earth!

Moonwalk 🌕
1 oz Tropicana Juice Grapefruit Juice
1 oz Grand Marnier Orange Liqueur

Key Lime Crush
1.5 oz Smirnoff Whipped Cream Vodka
1.5 oz Nellie & Joe's Lime Juice
Sprite Lemon-Lime Soda
Garnish: Lime Wedge & Whipped Cream

Add whipped cream vodka and key lime juice to a tall glass with ice. Top with lemon-lime soda and stir gently. Garnish with whipped cream and a lime wheel if desired. Enjoy!

The creator of this cocktail is unknown to this day, but there's no question that it was named after the iconic racehorse of the same name. This recipe dates back to the 1920s when Man o' War was at his prime. Drink to his nearly perfect record with this recipe, using spirits from Highland!

Man o' War Cocktail 🐎
2 oz Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Kentucky Straight Bourbon
1 oz Orange Curacao (or triple sec)
1/2 oz Lo-Fi Aperitifs Sweet Vermouth
1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
Garnish: Cocktail Cherries

Add bourbon, orange curacao, sweet vermouth, and fresh lemon juice into a shaker with ice. Shake until well-chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, and garnish with a skewered lemon peel and brandied cherry. Enjoy!
