We love being back in Berkley. There is something nice about having carry-out food options, the hustle and bustle of the big city, and not having to worry about hitting a deer every time we have to drive 30 minutes to the nearest grocey store! It's one of the biggest nights of the year in our newly adopted town of Cross Village – the annual Christmas Tree Lighting. The village gathers for stories, songs, treats, and of course, the tree. We were sad to miss it this year (thanks Bill Schwab - Photographic Artist for sending this video). Small town, Northern Michigan is about as good as it gets for the holidays.
