Our Ethanol Free Gas Pump is not working right now. We may need to replace the pump to get it working. We will be down an extended time period to fix this. We are sorry for the inconvenience and will keep you all posted on our progress.

We understand that our decision to stop accepting packages here at the store has upset some people. And I know that it's left you wondering what's going to happen December 1. I have tried to contact UPS corporate with no luck. The UPS driver said his boss is trying to figure something out, perhaps a drop box at the end of Cascade Way. As far as Fed-Ex, we never had an agreement with them so I'm not sure why they stopped delivering to you in the first place. The more you all can lodge protests to UPS and Fed Ex to get your package delivery rights back, the more likely it is that that will happen. The common thread is that the drivers are concerned about getting guns pulled on them. I believe those were isolated incidents involving contract drivers who were showing up in unmarked vehicles. We will continue to keep you updated as we know more.

We thought long and hard before we made this decision. Sales in the store are down this year and we have already eliminated 2 full time positions earlier this spring to help keep us above water. Despite that we are still struggling to make our obligations. So part of our decision was financial to be able to simplify the job and reduce payroll costs further. Also, we make less than $100 a month from UPS to provide this service to you and nothing from Fed-Ex or USPS.

We also frequently get 50 lb plus packages. We had one just yesterday that was 65 lbs. I cannot lift those and asking my employees to lift them to get them into your car or simply just move them out of the way so we can process our orders puts my employees at risk of injury.

We thank those customers that have been understanding and hope that those of you who are upset with this decision will find a way to be ok with it over time. Our store relies on this community to keep it open and we appreciate each and every one of you.

Attention Customers. As of December 1, 2024 we will no longer be offering package services. Unfortunately this service has placed an undue burden on our business and our staff. If you are currently using our address for your mailing needs please make other arrangements. For those who are using their own address, UPS and FedEx will be responsible for getting your packages to you. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Good morning. We just got our weekly shipment of veggies from Boundless Farmstead. Come on down and get some fresh vegetables to compliment what ever you maybe cooking this weekend.
My family likes to do power salads when it's hot. We will cook a chicken breast and slice up and put on top of our salad with tomatoes, green onions, carrots, radishes, broccoli, and maybe even a sprinkle of shredded cheese and then top it with our favorite dressing. You can add what ever you like on your salad for a fresh meal on a hot day.
