To our community,

As 2022 is coming to an end, I wanted to thank you, our loyal customers, for your support of L'Experience Paris - Cepae and share with you, our community, a new initiative for which we need your support.

Almost 3 years ago, the COVID crisis hit when we were still a very young business. We decided to remain open as much as governmental restrictions would allow.
It was important to us to keep our chefs from France employed, move ahead to pursue our common American dream, and to focus on turning uncertainty into opportunities to delight our community.

Little did we know at that time, however, that the pandemic would be followed by an economic crisis, high inflation, a labor shortage, and a total disruption of the global supply chain!

We have navigated these challenges to the best of our abilities. It has not been easy, but we have learned a lot and we have developed new muscles.

I am very proud of how our team has persevered and managed through these many challenges. They have made L'Experience Paris - Cepae what it is today: a slice of Paris in the Pacific Northwest and a destination adored and counted on by many to find the most authentic French products!

With last week’s snowstorm falling in the middle of what is normally our busiest season, we need your support to end 2022 and begin 2023 strong.

Our Inspiration Our inspiration is the emotions of men and women working their vineyards year-round to craft a wine they are passionate about. Emotions of wine tasters enjoying a glass, bringing back flavors of a unique moment of their life, flavors of a travel, or providing new unknown sensations.

Our Concept The concept behind Cépaé is to convey these emotions to you directly, bypassing the traditional layers of middlemen, to represent winemakers directly; for the most part, small winemakers who would not have dreamt of even reaching the US shores. This, combined with bringing you simply the best traditional French fares and pastries in the area made by hand each day and not mass-produced, aim at giving our customers an authentic slice of French culture in the heart of Bellevue.

Our Guests When people leave our tasting room, we hope they enjoyed both the experience of fine, traditional French pastries and savory food along with the diversity of the wines offered. Nowhere else in Seattle, or the surrounding area, can you find such a massive selection of wines by the glass (over 120!) – nearly all from producers who have no other representation in the US. Cépaé is a daydream in France combined with a full belly and a warm heart.
