Snowflakes were reported in town today!!!❄️☃️

November 1st is a day we put on our calendars when our priorities change. Snow equipment comes out in full force for display and the mowers go to storage. We have 60 volt electric snowblowers as well as our gas powered models to choose from. Stop in or give us a call.

But we can still sell you a mower at a really good price even though they are in storage.

UPDATE THE SEWER IS BACK UP AND RUNNING. ALL THINGS ARE WORKING NORMAL.

Due to updating our sewer system we will not have bathrooms or water available today. So no cappuccino or fountain pop. Coffee will still be available. Thank you for your patience.

What a difference a day makes. 🤩 Our new storage facility is now equipped with pallet racking. What does that mean for you? It means we have the ability to store your outdoor power equipment in the off season. If you have purchased new or used Husqvarna, Toro, or DR equipment from us in the past and you want to free up some space in your garage or shed, give us a call. As most of the area received some more rain ⛈ last night we will be mowing again.

Here is a quick ✅ service reminder. Check your lawn mower blades, especially if you have sandy soil, they may be getting dull this time of year.

The other major component to check would be your air filter. A plugged air filter will cause poor engine performance, extreme fuel consumption and cause your engine oil to breakdown faster.

Of course we here at Battle Lake Standard can help you with all your Husqvarna, Toro, and DR service components.

Before or after building your flower bouquet💐, or visiting The Lakes Therapies, or getting your bait and tackle for the weekend fishing adventure🎣, stop across the road at Battle Lake Standard from 8-noon and check out our full line of Husqvarna, Toro, and DR power equipment! The deli🍕 will also be taking orders until 5:30pm and the store will be open until 7:00pm. If you forget to fill up until after the parade the gas pumps⛽️ are open 24 hours so you can keep those boats🚤 and jet-skis running on this warm weekend! If those boats and jet-skis need a battery we also have a full line of Interstate Batteries to get you back on the water with minimal downtime.

We hope everyone has recovered from a busy fair week we had last week. The East Ottertail County Fair is going on now in Perham, so if you missed Fergus last week there is still opportunity to get some fair food in Perham.

IT’S FAIR WEEK!!! 👏

The West Ottertail County Fair is going on in Fergus Falls Wed-Sat this week at the fairgrounds. Go check out all the 4-H exhibits and barns, ride the rides and eat some fair food 🌭.

While you are there come visit Battle Lake Standard in the exhibit building. We have some of our Toro, Husqvarna, and DR equipment on display for everyone to get their hands on.

We also have a demonstration area set up for our Husqvarna Automower. Stop in and ask questions about the next big thing in the lawn mowing industry.

Congratulations to Mike and Lori Charest on 40 years in a family business! We know the dedication it takes to stay at it for that long.

The Charest family has been a part of us here at Battle Lake Standard with Mike’s father Vern being our fuel supplier for many years before his retirement and us buying his business.
