Join us at tonight (12/15/23) for a wine and hard tea tasting! Featured tonight are three red wines along with three different packages of Westmount Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, Strade di Toscana, and Firehouse Red. Owl’s Brew Tea will have their variety pack of real tea & vodka cocktails available to sample along with their skinny hibiscus margarita cocktail and what I think will be a crowd pleaser, the boozy tea hard seltzer cranberry chai! New wine arrivals this week here at Avon Wines. The 2019 Barolo from - They are an organic winery Piedmont subregion of Italy. The producer’s enviable vineyard holdings have been passed down for generations, farmed with the care you’d expect from prideful Italians carrying nearly 200 years’ worth of tradition. Brovia’s Barolos are classic in style, which means they are full-bodied, with flavors of cherries, roses, and spices. Also new to touchdown at Avon Wines this week is the 2018 Firehouse Red Blend from out of Columbia Valley! Bright & tart red fruit leads on the nose, including red cherry & pomegranate, followed by subtle floral aromas & spicy notes of savory pork roast. The palate is rich & focused with its tannins sitting in the mid-palate. Balanced flavors of red fruit are followed by fresh & pleasing savory tannins, showing notes of steak rub & cocoa that lead into a long, smooth finish. The Firehouse Red is a blend of: 36% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Syrah, 18% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, 2% Mourvedre, 2% Grenache, 2% Counoise, 2% Sangiovese, 2% Petit Verdot, 1% Nebbiolo 🍷🥂😀All available now at Avon Wines & Spirits located in the Riverdale Farms Shopping Plaza 144 Simsbury Road Building 7-C Avon, CT 06001 .farms.shopping

Brand new in at Avon Wines on this fine sunny late September Tuesday! Collab between and a Tropical style Blonde Ale at 5.1% abv.. French Toast Bastard, a vanilla cinnamon maple bourbon barrel-aged scotch ale at 11.1% abv. And for the gluten free crowd, we didn’t forget about you! To go along side their lager, IPA!
