Longhorns for Life seeks to educate our UT family on the consistent life ethics and spread awareness on what it truly means to be pro-life.

We are dedicated to affirming the fundamental dignity and equal value of all human lives, at all stages and in all circumstances. We lovingly serve our community by educating ourselves and our peers on many life-threatening issues such as abortion and capital punishment. We provide opportunities for meaningful, respectful discussion of these topics. Through fundraising and volunteer work, we suppo

rt the most vulnerable people in our community. This Fall, we will have weekly meetings on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-7:30pm in ECJ 1.304. We're all over the web:

We will be selling roses on Speedway on Friday (Valentine’s Day!) from 10:30-3pm. All the profit will go towards our Pregnant and Parenting Student Scholarship! Find us on Friday for a beautiful flower!

CW: Rape // “I remember them pulling this ultrasound screen… they turned on the screen and it goes all wavy and fuzzy and then it slowly shows the picture. And I’m waiting for the feelings that I’m supposed to have- the rage, the disgust, and all those things you expect to feel after rape. But I look at the screen, and I smile because for the first time since the attack, I feel something alive inside me again. I feel the beginnings of joy and hope. I feel love. I feel like I’m not alone anymore. I remember thinking “Okay, I couldn’t protect myself, but this baby I can protect.” We would to thank Jennifer Christie for sharing her moving and vulnerable testimony with us on Choosing Life after Rape. And thank you to everyone who joined us Tuesday. Next week we will be discussing the inhumane institution of capital punishment, led by officers Jordan and Jackie. #ProLife #ConsistentLifeEthic #LoveLouder
