Dessert is on at Old School. A brand new offering from Debbie Does Desserts this week. How does an orange cake made with semolina flour topped with Greek yogurt, candied orange and crushed pistachios sound? Eight slices and going fast - might have to have a repeat delivery on this one! Would pair perfectly with a German Riesling or a Moscato D'Asti! We've got both of those too!

Hey Old Schoolers! We’ve got some new deli delights to tell you about, as well as remind you about some that’ve been around for a while!

New offerings in the deli case! An Antipasti Parmesan Cheese Spread and a Hatch Chile Almond Dip (vegan)! Click on the photos to find out what’s in these tasty dips. Perfect for snacking while watching the game or while enjoying this fall weather on the patio with your favorite beverage!

Also, the best empanadas in town arrived fresh this morning! All the usuals - smoked brisket, al pastor, peruvian chicken, conquistadora, chana masala and the always popular spinach & goat cheese!

New item in the store! Introducing Tidewater Honey! This local raw honey comes from Rockport TX and we are excited to have this on our shelves! A variety of sizes -a 2 oz bottle, perfect to accompany a charcuterie board! And if you purchase a 12 oz bottle - it includes the honeycomb in the jar!

Why yes indeed, we do now stock Fierce Whiskers!! We now have the Texas straight rye whiskey, and the Texas straight bourbon whiskey! If you haven't tried their amazing whiskeys, you'll get a chance to in October when they do a tasting at Old School! Follow us here for details!

Happy Saturday! Let’s talk about Fall, specifically all these yummy delightful Fall beer selections!

The beer cooler is stocked full of Oktoberfest beers, Ambers, DIPA’s, Stouts and of course, Pumpkin Ales! And while you’re imbibing these tasty fall beers, we have some snack ideas to pair with ‘em! New arrival in the market section Q's Nuts! These little packets of nuts tick all the boxes - vegan, gluten-free, soy and dairy free and most importantly- delicious and quite addictive! But hey, at least it’s a healthy-ish addiction!

A couple of our local vendors have decided to celebrate PRIDE 🌈 this month by bringing in some beautiful gift ideas and sweet treats!

Tinkerwendy worked her magic with her amazing resin art and made some rainbow wine glasses, lighter holders and rumor has it she’s bringing in more rainbow keychains!

Debbie Does Desserts whipped up this Rainbow Bundt cake with a pineapple tequila glaze! 😋

Just want to give a shout out to Ben! We enjoyed having you as part of the OS crew, Ben Ruggiero… if even for a brief stint. Thanks for putting in some time with us and best of luck with your move back to upstate New York. Sounds heavenly about now! (No, we did not send him away with a case of Zing Zang- he needed a few more boxes for moving!!) 😂

One of the best things about having Ben work at the store for the past few months - before he left, he recommended a friend of his, Mike, to take over his position. Mike is a super knowledgeable, well-rounded individual. He came by a few weeks ago to interview and I hired him on the spot - major score for us! Welcome aboard, Mike Cockrell! We’re excited to have you join the OS crew!
