Two single casks on our 2 year anniversary weekend! Woohoo!
Both from @luxrowdistillers in Bardstown, KY these two casks are very alike, yet very different.
@ezrabrooksbourbon is a 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley and has a light spice with a rich vanilla and salinity that comes through.
@rebelbourbon is a 68% corn, 20% wheat and 12% malted barley mashbill that has notes of peanut brittle and sweet tea.
Both are cask strength clocking in at 120 proof giving you nothing but whiskey! Come try them in store today and continue the anniversary celebration with us.
Cheers!
Super excited about new wines this week!
First, @subjecttochangewineco wines that just hit Georgia. Brand new to the natural wine scene in California, Subject to Change, they are focused on minimal intervention and winemaking in the most raw style, hence why there wines may be “subject to change” from vintage to vintage. Check out this piquette, red blend (primarily petit sirah) and a 100% zin.
Oh, and watch out for the burgundy fairy. She’s got something special she doesn’t want me to tell you about. Come and check it out.
We’re so honored to win the award for best stocking stuff this year from the man himself, Santa!
It’s a Lil’ Oldie, ya’ll!
Next in our line of cocktails to go comes the Old Fashioned or affectionately referred to as the Lil’ Oldie. Whistlepig 10 yr, and a single serve of Bittermilk #1 old fashioned syrup, what else do you need???
Oh cherries and an orange slice. Sorry, those aren’t included. Ok, let’s stuff those stockings!
Happy Saturdaaaaay… Big thanks to @rlandzo ❤️
We’re peeping some new merch coming soon, just in time for the holidaaaaaze ❤️
Our newest #thirstyandcurious cocktail pack takes a classic cocktail back to its roots. That is, using cognac in a French 75. It’s the perfect transition from a bright and summer Spring/Summer brunch classic to a rich and seductive Fall/Winter evening drink.
It is said the French 75 originated in Paris with Cognac as its base prior to the popularity in England (where gin is queen) and its eventual appearance in the Savoy Cocktail Book, where the recipe called for gin. The cognac version wasn’t really brought back until more recently.
We like the fruitiness the cognac brings to the party, adding a layer of spice and tannins that play on the bright lemon notes and yeasty champagne.
Pick it up today and never look at a French 75 the same 🇫🇷
Come get you a dram! We’ll be pouring our ASW Optic Promise single malt this Wednesday from 5-7pm in store.
Taste and then see why you should be paying attention to single malts made in the south.
The sun is setting on our first private label wine release, Periodic. We are sad to see it go but remember all the good times we shared over a glass of this wine over the past couple months. We have a couple bottles left, grab it before it’s gone for good 😭.
But on the heels of this great wine, there is another…. stay tuned. 🤫
In our latest episode of “Negronis: On the go” we present the #togroni. A masterful, yet simple combination of gin, Campari and sweet vermouth in small format bottles makes this a perfect pocket party (yup, we said that).
Welcome the @togroni to the already extensive lineup of our favorite cocktail on the go. And if you have any questions, you shouldn’t.
We just installed a pool*!
*For wines and rubber ducks only please.
