It’s hard to find the right words to describe how we feel. We want to be real and show just how much this has impacted us. At the same time, anyone who knows Sam, Brooke and the crew—some of the most positive people around—knows we try to keep things light. But going from one extreme to another isn’t easy. 8 days before Helene we celebrated our 6th annual customer appreciation night at our Historic Biltmore location, open for 7 years. To go from a night full of joy, laughter, friendship and community to this aftermath is hard. This journey has been hard, to see the first place we opened with our hopes and dreams in such destruction. But our spirits remain unbroken, and it’s that same community love we felt just eight days before that’s keeping us going. In fact, we feel it even MORE now, and we can’t thank you enough for your support. This video is hard for us to watch—it shows the stark contrast between the highs and lows—but it’s our truth, like so many others in the area and beyond. Everyone has their own story of how this has affected them, and all of those stories are valid. We’re sending out our love to all of you who are going through this too.
