Doing another free soul food supper at Asheland Ave Hot Spot today from 3PM-5:30/6 or until food run out. Most everything is gluten free/gluten-reduced. Everyone is welcome no matter what situation you are in with the flood, lgbt friendly. Anyone is welcome to bring more food or just hang out with us if you would like. Anybody in the Asheville area who wants some free supper come by our closed Downtown Asheville Hot Spot location on Asheland Avenue for pulled pork, blackened chicken, slaw, rice and beans, collard greens, etc . This is a personal effort on my part and we will be set up at 4 PM until either 7pm or food runs out.

My coworkers here are all safe to my knowledge but we are tired and heartbroken for our family, friends, and customers while dealing with long lines and no water or power often. We have been working around the clock to keep gasoline and staple merchandise sales going in the interest of maintaining our communities’ broken infrastructures.

My deepest heartfelt apology to everyone in the community who lost their home, business, or family and friends. We love all of you and we are praying for no more bad news and as fast of a recovery as possible.
