Our August manager picks are on display. Bring one home for your next grillin' & chillin session.
Brandborg white Pinot Noir (Oregon) The aromas have stone fruit notes, white pear, with some Rainier cherry, lime, fennel and wild herbs. These fruit flavors are apparent on tasting with a nice savory crispness helping to round out the white fruit flavors. The wine is fairly big, lush and round in the mouth. Pair this wine with your favorite pan seared fish with a wine and lemon reduction. It would also work well grilled fish or chicken. The mouthfeel is rich enough to stand up to creamy, cheesy dishes as well. $22.99
Kumusha Pinotage (South Africa) Taking great care to gently extract the delicious purple fruit characteristics of the grapes, this minimal intervention wine explodes with flavors of berry, plum, coffee, and baking spice. It’s a uniquely South African wine that pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes, such as BBQ pork and roasted chicken. $19.99
H3 Merlot (Columbia Valley, WA) Opens with aromas of raspberries, black pepper and earthy tones which lead to flavors of chocolate covered cherries and plum preserves on the silky smooth palate. The flavors and aromas cumulate in to an intense, yet elegant, finish. $14.99
14 Hands Chardonnay (Columbia Valley WA) This lighter style Chardonnay begins with delicate floral aromas complemented by rich melon, apple and pear flavor. $11.99
