• Domaine Lupin Frangy Roussette de Savoie: Beth likes to say that she’s most relaxed in the mountains - long johns, no makeup, a gorgeous view and a glass of wine. She’s channeling those mountain vibes with this French beauty from the Alpine region of Savoie. The grape Altesse is home in the high-altitude village of Frangy where the notes dance between lemon-lime, crisp apple, steely minerality and almond. A wine that feels familiar, but also wonderfully intriguing and complex.
• Center of Effort Pinot Noir: Having spent years in the restaurant industry, Shea is the master at dreaming up a drool-worthy meal paired with the perfect wine. Cool-climate Cali Pinot Noir hits all the right notes with cherry and raspberries paired with earthy undertones and subtle spice. A wine that’s so versatile (and delicious) you can pair it with nearly any food, including the elusively tough-to-pair mushroom. Only 32 barrels were produced so grab a bottle while it’s here!
• Bedrock Old Vine Zinfandel: When your Dad is known as the “Godfather or Zinfandel”, you know you come by your winemaking pedigree honestly. Morgan Twain Peterson started Bedrock in 2007, but quickly added his friend Chris Cottrell to the ownership team. (They met and became friends at work - at a job they had before Bedrock...sound familiar?) Bedrock quickly started collecting awards and has become particularly known for killer Zinfandel. This is a clear and obvious Julie pick - bold, big, and unapologetic. The fruit is rich but not sweet, with blackberry, raspberry and cherry, plus baking spices and a gorgeous and delicate touch of tannin.
