Seems that we have a lot going on for this post. Here’s the list for today and into the weekend:

1. We have Double Eagle Rare, Springbank 10yr, Bernheim Wheat Whiskey (“A” release) and the new release of Mizunara finish from Dark Arts!!

2. The “name” contest had no winner. The correct answer is Charlie!! We welcome him to the family. As a result, we will be donating the Weller Full Proof pick to the Wisconsin Honor Flight program. If interested, here is their website and their event is in mid-April. https://www.wisconsinhonorflight.org

3. We will have a drawing on Saturday at 2:30pm. Why 2:30? Why not? The drawing will be a Tony White Elephant. He said they had fun with it a couple weeks ago so let’s give it a second run.

4. Our Rare Character TKO pick is in. It is $119.99. If you have purchased any barrel pick within the last 30 days you can just buy one. If not then you still can buy one if you purchase another barrel pick. Want a second? You can buy a second with another barrel pick purchase today. Limit 2 per household!!

5. Don’t forget to sign up for the April Thirsty Third Thursday!! April 17th at 6pm. And there is a picture of all the scotch being tasted. Alessia will be here and she does a great job!! $30 and food is included.

It's Thursday! We're getting closer to the weekend! And we have a lot going on!
First some new beer features that arrived today! New Holland's bourbon barrel aged triple mash stout. Clocking in at a whopping 18% abv! Limited quantities. Won't last long! Next two new from Lakefront. Brau buddies is a collab lager with Hofbrau brewery. Abita's banana foster is a delicious limited stout with banana, cinnamon and brown sugar flavors. Lastly, Bell's Oberon is back! A sure sign of summer weather is on the way!
On the wine side, Scott and Larry are giving 10% off any six bottles of wine! Sale runs thru Monday. A complimentary Antioch wine bag with purchase. April 26th wine tasting. Save the date.
Lastly. Can't go without bourbon sales.

Adam is back and has a couple things planned/available for today and the coming week. Some information as well.

1. The Elite Eight for the NCAA basketball are Duke (Jaime Salas), Alabama (Rich Niznik), Houston (A. Miniur), Tennessee (Dan Morris), Auburn (Mark Kiebles), Michigan State (Dennis Anderson), Florida (BottleChug), Texas Tech (Mr. Skittles).

2. These are available. Just walk in and ask for one. First come first served limit 1 per household. EH Taylor Small Batch and Caribou Crossing.

3. A new contest. Adam will be a grandfather within the next 10 days. He has no idea what the name will be. So, guess the name (grandson so boy’s names). It will definitely not be Adam so guess something else. Winner may buy a bottle of Library Weller Full Proof (meaning an older barrel pick). The one pictured was delicious. If more than one guess correctly, there will be a random draw to determine the winner. Picks will be accepted through either 4/7 or the date of birth. To enter, hand Adam or Tony your guess. Please do not post/email/text it. Thanks!!

4. Now for today’s bottles. We only have a few items so making it simple. The first is a Heaven Hill product. So anyone who has purchased our Elijah Craig barrel pick by 2pm today will automatically be entered (yes, earlier purchases count). Adam will draw from those for the right to buy Heaven Hill 19yr. There is also a bottle on the bar for $30/oz. Jack 14 is also that price now. We also have three bottles of the new Bomberger release. It’s made by Michters. So anyone who buys a Michters product within the same time period will automatically be entered for the right to buy them. This includes Crop Vodka, Farmers Gin, Marti Rum (on bar as a closeout) or, of course, any Michters Whiskey. Both of these drawings will take place at 2pm (or shortly thereafter as we fill out tickets). You don’t need to be here. You will get a ticket for each bottle purchased.

Sorry for the late post. What do we have?

First a reminder that our new Elijah Craig barrel pick came in. And it's delicious!

Happy Wine Wednesday! Today we are going to feature two wines that overdeliver for their price AND will be discounted thru the end of the month!
First is the 2021 Foppiano 1896. A big and bold red blend of Petite Sirah, Barbera, Carignan, Zinfandel and Mouvedrw with front and mid palate fruit and a hint of umami.
Usually $14. Now $12/bottle or $10 with the purchase of a case.
The second wine is 2020 Chateau Lamothe St. Germain. This right bank style Bordeaux with 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc is beautifully layered with a ton of red fruit, great structure and Pomerol earthiness.

What's happening today?
3 o'clock drawing today! Wheel and steal white elephant! Ten bottles to be offered.
This months Thirsty Third Thursday was a good time. MGP blind tasting. The Copper & Cask picks were clear favorites. So today only, if you purchase these Tony will give 3 drawing tickets per bottle.
Also going on. I hid a bottle of EH Taylor small batch about a week and half ago and forgot. I saw it yesterday. So find it, you can buy it.

And to finish off, Scott would like me to remind everyone we have an excellent wine section and Scott is here to suggest what would be best for gifts or pair with meals.

What does everyone want? More wheel!
We have Eh Taylor small batch, Eagle Rare,Weller Special reserve. How do you get it? Stop in spin the wheel. Hit W, you get it. Hit L, you can still get one, but you'll have to spend $40 on anything in the store. See Tony.

Next we received a whole bunch of new closeouts. Vodka, Irish whiskey, over proof rum and fruit flavored liqueurs. Most are displayed up front.

Finally. Drawing tomorrow at 3. More wheel. Blind bottles, we'll see what else I can add to make it complicated.

It is not too late to get into our college tournament madness event! Spots are left!

Also Thirsty Third Thursday tomorrow will have something special at the end of it available! 10 spots left for that! Call or stop by to reserve your seat.
The tournament game goes as follows....
1. Anyone who buys any single bottle of $50 or more gets an entry if they find Tony after that (wine, whiskey, beer, tequila - whatever item). You may enter up to 3x. You will draw a team. You will have that team against the spread each round. All teams are equal based on this. If your team loses but covers the spread you take over the winning team for the next round. Ties will be graded as a win for the underdog. As you will not know what teams are picked, we can accept up to 64 entries until they are gone. The winner will have the right to buy a Pappy 15yr. The runner up will have the right to buy a Thomas Handy. Good luck!!

2. Thirsty third Thursday is this week. We will have a blind tasting of MGP whiskey. There are 10 spots remaining and we will have the basketball games on for you. The event starts at 6:00pm Thursday. Call or stop in to reserve. It is $30 and includes drinks and food.

Anyway, here is a reminder of what is going on today!

1. We will have a drawing today at 3pm. We will start with a 10 bottle White Elephant and close with a general drawing (so those not here might prevail as well).

2. Want to earn some extra tickets? Buy any barrel pick or closeout on the bar and spin the wheel for extra tickets. Find a manager to let you spin.

3. We received several limited items yesterday. Buffalo Trace is in. And we have the most recent Orphan Barrel, some interesting Myers Rums aged in each of of Buffalo Trace Antique Collection barrels, and K**b Creek 12yr. Plus we still have Redwood Empire Van Duzen, Elijah Barrel Proof A release, Early Times Bottled in Bond and more. Check it all out!!

4. Finally, we are considering an NCAA Tournament Bracket contest similar to last year. More on that Monday as to the right to buy items and how to get an entry. There is no cash value to winning this contest.

We are 17 days away from Rick Nielsen from Cheap Trick being here for a bottle signing of his Rock'n Vodka. It is October 22nd from 12-3pm. In the next week or so, we will have a way for those who can not attend to prepay for bottles and have him sign them for you to pickup later. We will also have a drawing this Saturday at 3pm. Adam doesn't have the bottle list yet as a few things are anticipated this week. Cheers!!
