Always love when a brewery plays with hops and adjuncts. In comes Fort George Brewery using Citra hops to play with single source coffee beans. Usually people think stouts when they think coffee in beer, but Fort George challenges you and we think they’ve hit it on the head.

Aroma and flavor in a small package. Splendor jumps out of the glass with guava, sweet fruit and grapefruit. A smooth, medium full mouthfeel carries more sweet fruit and a bit of navel orange through the flavor.

This is a wonderfully fun and funky brewery out of Oklahoma O-K! Prairie Artisan Ales has been out of the market and just came back in and we’re excited to have some for you to check out. First up we have some sours:

You’ve probably had the ultra popular All Fluff from Matchless Brewing, but this is the super limited fluff on steroids! Take their hazy base and pump up the volume to 11 on Citra, el Dorado, and Mosaic! This is the most fluffy, juicy pineapple and orange juice combo and it only comes around but once a year!

We have some fun beers from our friends at Urban Family Brewing Company out of Ballard. They offer some nice fruit forward kettle sours as well as nicely rounded IPAs. They offer a great introduction to the styles that are both approachable and enjoyable to palates that are learning and advanced.
