Do you enjoy art? Join us next Saturday, July 24th from 11am-4pm as 11 artist will be on the grounds of White Cross Cellars displaying and selling their artwork at the very first Colony Arts. While we won't have Michelangelo's David, we will have some unique artwork for 11 Eastern Iowa artists. Enjoy the unique art work of these artist and stop by to sample some of our award winning wines including the new vintage of Chateau Blanc.

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Bike & Hike weekend has a little something for everyone! Throughout the Amana Colonies you can find great places to stretch your legs and enjoy the great outdoors. We have walking routes that will lead you around town in Amana, as well as routes like the Amana Colonies Recreational Trails and the Amana Nature Trail to get you close to nature. This weekend can make a great warm up for Bike Ride of Iowa County!

Join us in Amana on July 4th as we Salute our Veterans with a parade. If you are a Veteran, we want you to be in the parade. If you have a family member that is no longer with us, bring their picture and walk in the parade to honor them. The parade will start at 10am on Saturday, July, 4th at the new Hotel Millwright (Amana Woolen Mill). Arrive around 9:30am and we will get you in the parade. You can walk or drive.
This weekend is "Salute to the Veterans" in the Amana Colonies. Come join us.

What is a Volksmarch? A “people’s march” is a popular event in Germany and many other European countries that began as a way to encourage people to get out and enjoy fresh air and exercise while exploring the world around them. We would like to invite you to the Amana Colonies to join us for a Spring Volksmarch this weekend on Saturday, June 20th! The Amana Colonies Recreational Trails are a great place for a Volksmarch and we can’t wait until Saturday! Throughout the day, head to the trails any time you'd like and walk, run, or bike around the Lily Lake. While you're here, enjoy a picnic or some shopping, and maybe treat dad to some ice cream from Moo Moo's Ice Cream Truck or supper at one of our wonderful restaurants the Amana Colonies!
