We are excited to congratulate Chris Spickard on the promotion to his new role of Maintenance & Projects Manager.

Chris has been with Enmarket for 5 and a half years, starting as a Car Wash Field Service Technician and moving his way up to Assistant Maintenance & Projects Manager, which helped prepare him for his newest role. In his downtime, Chris enjoys participating in outdoor activities, especially when it comes to fishing.

We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Bethesda Academy in Savannah, GA, and entered into an agreement that will bring a new Enmarket store and a Bethesda Welcome Center to the Skidaway Island, GA area.

Bethesda Academy, established in 1740 as an orphanage and school by renowned evangelist George Whitefield, holds the distinction of being the oldest continuously operating child-caring institution in the United States. Over its rich history, Bethesda Academy has educated and nurtured countless individuals, fostering a legacy of academic excellence, spiritual growth, and character development. Now, it is an independent private day school for young men in grades six through twelve.

This land leasing agreement will provide a sustainable funding source allowing Bethesda Academy to offer educational programs for generations to come. The store's design will complement Bethesda Academy's historic campus, ensuring a harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary styles.

Lease proceeds will help to support the work of a learning specialist and student success center that work to develop and implement individualized learning plans for every student.

On Friday, our team had a great time helping the Savannah Sports Council hand out race bibs, t-shirts and coffee at their Health & Wellness Expo in preparation for the Savannah Bridge Run.

Did you know that a portion of race proceeds are donated to the Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion at St. Joseph’s/Candler to devote to cancer care, resources and research?

Last week, General Managers from across our company gathered together at our headquarters in Savannah, GA.

Operations leadership shared inspiring thoughts and new initiatives, the HR department reviewed content from Simon Sinek on leading with empathy. The Safety department instilled the importance of the “near miss” and how we can keep our teams safe by sharing these experiences. Marketing discussed our food service program and the effect a loyalty program can have on business while the Accounting and Finance team was introduced to the managers they work with every day. All of this, along with an inspiring presentation from our President, Matt Clements, helped to reinforce our value of family, our mission to enrich lives, and to take care of our greatest asset, our people!

We also recognized the 2023 Golden Leaf Award winners, who have demonstrated outstanding performance and commitment throughout the year.
