Thank you to Alturas CHP for their quick response to a traveler who was driving on the rims of their vehicle!
David Hunt and I tried to get him to stop and he refused! A customer left the store and did all she could to get him finally stopped just outside of Adin…CHP got there shortly after she got him to stop!

He had been on the rims since Eagle Lake!!! Thank you, Lord for protecting us! No fires started and no collisions with anyone else!

A locals pet was just killed because someone was flying through our town!

With the daily increases in fuel ⛽️ prices, we’ve decided to start bringing in some quantity based grocery items.
I’ll be ordering in cases things like,
Lunch snacks like cookies and crackers, canned foods by the case, larger portioned pastas and sauces. Condiments, spices. Paper products like paper towels and bathroom tissue.
What are some things that you’d like to see us carry to help offset your trips to Redding, Klamath or Susanville.
We want to help you avoid spending $100 on fuel rather than food for your family!
Let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
We can all help each other by shopping locally.

If traveling through the Big Valley/Intermou rain area, please be prepared! Services are minimal this weekend, have chains! When you don’t prepare, you place others in possible harms way! Don’t be that person! Fuel up, have water, warm coats, boots, snacks. Be ready, no one can get to you quickly if you spin out into a snow bank!
Be cautious and travel slowly and carefully! Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
