You don't want to miss this! Our annual Harvest Dinner will be drive thru this year! The Adel Police Department has requested that people attending the Harvest Dinner enter from Greene St onto S. 14th St. and turn into the first driveway into the church. After you have your food, please exit and turn right on S. 14th St to assist with flow of traffic in town. We will have people available to direct traffic at the church. See you tomorrow night!

Your Adel Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department will be participating in the traditional passing of the sweets. However, in an abundance of caution, we will be protecting your goblins and princesses with a few minor covid related changes. We will not be serving hot chocolate and pop corn this year. However, the great guys at your fire station has created some “Sweets Chutes” and are excited to have your little-ones come over and try them out.

To keep everyone safe, we will have several people wearing firefighter “costumes” and helping direct vehicle and foot traffic in the area. However, we need your help. Please keep all the children off of the fire department vehicles. We are sorry - we will not have restrooms or fire station tours available. And most importantly - Please do not cross the streets except for the cross walks.

To visit us and show us your cool costumes, please come to your fire station on Main Street, between 10th and 11th. We will have TWO options for you to choose from. A) is DRIVE through service (Cars driving EAST on Main will be served through the passenger window) OR B) WALK-up service (Goblins, Ghosts, Princesses, pirates, etc will be able to walk on the SIDEWALK on the south side of Main Street to collect a sweet treat.

Chutes open at 6PM and the last sweets slide at 8PM.

Through the end of May, all Friday Night ADM Tiger Pride Drives will conclude with the ADM "boom" traditionally heard at home football games.

Please help spread this information with neighbors and friends so residents are not caught off guard when hearing the "boom".

Below are the approximate times that each "boom" will occur. Please note: Multiple "booms" will occur on May 22 to honor ADM Seniors.
