Won the heat. Was running p2 in the feature and had just got rolling good on the top when we broke the left rear hub.
Almost that time of year!
Back out of the box. No races tonight… stay safe and dry.
No racing tonight… keeping cool at the cabin.
Braylon’s first race of any kind… first time at speed. Finished 4th out of 6... missed 3rd by inches. Definitely wasn’t scared haha. He also ran the race with his hand wrapped in duct tape after cutting it before he went out to run. Ended up sitting in the ER until 4 so he could get nine stitches. Quite the first night.
15th to 3rd before we lost a motor. Finally had the car handling like I like it. We will drop another one in and be back. Thanks to all our supporters!
Be prepared for some parent bragging over the next couple weeks as the school year comes to a close. Proud of my kids and how hard they work. Cayden’s final jazz band concert was tonight. He had his sports banquet on Friday night. He was honored as an MVP for the basketball team and played three sports all through high school despite a major knee injury and fractured leg. We don’t make the races we once did, but I am glad my children are so well rounded and never sit around.
