After months of planning… weeks of prepping and about 80 hours of laser time and hours of staining (thanks to my hubby Dave Dexheimer and Kyles friends) and hours of assembling (Kyle Daily & Jess ) ,
I can finally show off the boxes Jess and I designed for all the guests at the wedding

The wedding gifts I custom designed and made for By best friend and her husband for their wedding yesterday, have finally been opened!

I love the layout pic Jess sent me of everything. Also I found out after the wedding that the hair dresser was able to add the keychain to Jess’s bridal bouquet so it was part of the wedding after all (I may or may not have teared up when her sister told me about it and then again hwhen Jess sent me the pic of her bouquet)

Ok the gift:

It’s a Treasured Memories Keepsake Set
That I custom designed to hold all their treasured memories from this day fwd

The book box (on the right of pic) was stained with the same stain colors as the gift boxes for the wedding guests.
The book box is 4” thick, and holds the two black notebooks and the tiny hearts.

It reads…”our most treasured memories together “ across the top and their names on the bottom
The date keeper (blue acrylic that matches the keychains ) is 14” tall x 11” wide and 2.5” thick.

It reads… their names on top and
“The Best Memories are the ones we make together” along the bottom

Both have their wedding logo as the centers.

1-Write the date on the tiny wooden hearts, 2-open the journal write the date 3-record the moments you want to always treasure that go with the date in the journals 4- drop the heart into the date keeper 5- as years go by, reach into the date keeper pull out a heart find the date in the journal and relive the moments again together!

They were passed out to each graduate before the ceremonies last night!

Two weeks ago today I was diagnosed with grade 1 endometrial cancer. I am currently waiting for my oncology team to schedule a total hysterectomy to start this journey of kicking cancers butt!
Not having a date is making it difficult to plan for future deliveries. Please bare with me as I await a surgery date. Responses to messages or emails or texts may be delayed and I try to navigate these new waters.
Some types of decor may not be available while I’m recovering such as arches and sculptures. Delivery may be limited to Berkshire county but will try to maintain as much normalcy as physically possible.

Post hysterectomy and any radiation or chemo if needed late summer/early fall I will be planning a double mastectomy as part of my brca2+ diagnosis preventative surgery.
I will continue to run the laser for Color-Me Creative Gifts and may have delayed shipping times around surgery/recovery times with that as well.
As these two businesses are a big part of our families income, I will be doing my best to acquire the help and support needed to keep things going.

I truly appreciate all the love and support from my clients and customers over the past 4.5 years and I look forward to being able to continue to providing the best I can!
