13 years ago today, my wife and I took a chance on ourselves.... it paid off... it's the 13th Anniversary of Big Johnson Liquor & Beer! I'm so grateful to Abilene and the Big Country for their support! It means something to me with my name on that sign... We care, and appreciate each and every one of our customers and clients... We brought home Double Gold Medals and Consumers’ Choice Awards from SIP Awards this year! Our Four Grain, Bottled-in-Bond, and Red, White & Blue KY Straight Bourbons all placed in the top percentile of their categories to receive these awards. As a young craft distillery, we are so proud to have gold medals for our first three bourbon releases!
