Today, let's take a trip down memory lane and celebrate the history of the new Moe’s Station

🏪Did you know what stood in this location before Moe's Station opened its doors? There are several answers but lets look at Taylor's Service Station.

⛽Taylor's began in 1946 when Lewis Frank. Taylor, a proud Navy veteran, returned home to Abbeville after serving his country in the US Navy. Taylor decided to open the station right about the same location as Moe's, and it quickly became a beloved spot in town. Lewis was not only a dedicated service station owner but also an active member of the VFW, contributing to our community in more ways than one. Taylor's held down the reins until the mid-1950s.

🚗Today, Moe's Station is not just a new business; it's a continuation of a legacy that stretches back to the post-World War II era, reminding us of our town's history and the remarkable individuals who have been part of it. While the current station may be housed in a brand-new building, the nostalgia of that former station still lingers in the air. The memories of countless visits, friendly faces, and the spirit of service that Lewis instilled in this location continue to live on.
