Well, my dear friends,
Thanks to Professor Yang Zhao, Ellen Lee, and Nuno Azevedo, all from the Hyper Convergence Foundation, we will have the opportunity to "introduce" ourselves in Taiwan as a structured and united community for the first time.
On October 5th, we will begin a wide range of activities that will take place at the Art Living Café, TUGA, and later at the Zhongshan Hall.
These activities cover various aspects including history, gastronomy, digital graphic art, calligraphy, painting, drawing, jewelry, and photography.
We will have a total of 10 artists exhibiting and presenting their works, with 5 being Portuguese and 5 being Taiwanese.
There will also be daily music performances, Chinese opera, and live calligraphy presentations.
We start everything on October 5th and end on the 28th.
Gradually, we will reveal everything that will happen, with an organization typically based on our traditional "navigating by sight" techniques, a characteristic that confuses others but makes us a unique people in the art of improvisation...
And we continue like this, unchanged, following our own path based on the inspiration of the moment, but fundamentally rooted in our passions.
I would say that we have almost finalized the program. But the word "almost" will remain until the end, even if it's just to demonstrate the mastery that characterizes our art of navigating by sight.
Today, we release the information about the first event on October 5th at the Art Living Café of the Foundation. We will have a dinner with Portuguese food prepared by our Nelson because we are celebrating our Republic. But not only that.
At this event, we will also introduce something that few know: the history of Portuguese republicans and their assistance to the Chinese republicans and Sun Yat-Sen, a story that took place in Macau and a year later led to the triumph of the Chinese republican revolution over the rule of the Qing Dynasty.
But we need a full house and Portuguese faces. Let's do it, sign up and come in full force.
On October 6th and 7th, we will then present a new culinary project focused on the Portuguese journey on the spice route and everything that it influenced on the tables of the families we encountered along the way.
We will start by "visiting" the Colaço family in Daman (October 6th and 7th) and then move on to the Morais Alves family in Macau (October 13th and 14th), and everything will be "staged" at TUGA Taipei.
It's about "Family Food" with centuries-old recipes passed down from generation to generation.
And more "stops" will come, not now, but in the near future, at a total of eleven points of arrival, representing our journey (The Journey) from that European "rectangle" to distant East Timor.
And later, on October 24th, we will open the doors at the Zhongshan Hall. But we will release that information in detail in due course.
That's all for now. Focus on attending on October 5th, 6th, and 7th. The path is made by walking...
