The Dalmore 12 year is the perfect dram to start off the weekend! 🥃🥃

Dalmore 12 is aged for the first nine years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, before half is transferred to ex-oloroso sherry casks for the final three years.

The result is a whisky with a combination of sweetness and rich, sherried flavours.

Absolutely gorgeous design work, vivid colors and presents a more contemporary image of what Scotch Whisky can be.

This Special Edition begins as a classic Glenfiddich Single
Malt Scotch Whisky which has been aged for 12 years in both Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks. Then, Brian Kinsman and the team have taken a slightly different path by finishing this beautiful whisky using the more rare style of Sherry Casks, Amontillado casks. Amontillado would typically be lighter in color and less sweet than say an Oloroso or Pedro Ximenez Sherry. The result is a rich and complex whisky with a delightfully long warming finish.

Located in the Scottish region of Speyside, The Balvenie has been crafting great malts since 1892. Balvenie DoubleWood 12 Year Old is no exception.

The distillery has won several awards for their efforts and produce some incredible malts with a subtle peated quality.

The Balvenie DoubleWood 12 Year Old is one of the distillery’s core expressions. This malt has been matured in the usual American Oak cask and was then transferred for finishing in first fill European Oak sherry casks.

This results is a smooth mellow taste with nutty sweetness, cinnamon spiciness and a layer of sherry.
This is truly a classic single malt, with the ability to convert a non-whisky drinker with its deliciousness.
