U.S. rig count jumps by 22 to total 635

Baker Hughes rig count released Friday shows the United States has added 22 rigs since last week, bringing its total count to 635. Compared to a record low of 244 in August 2020, the rig count is up 160%.

STATOIL’S JOHAN CASTBERG FPSO: EPC Project in Singapore.
SEMBCORP MARINE (Singapore) AND STATOIL SIGN FPSO EPC
CONTRACT.
Sembcorp Marine in December 2017 secured a
US$490 million contract from Statoil Petroleum
AS on the turnkey Engineering, Procurement and
Construction (EPC) of Hull and Living Quarters
for a newbuild floating production, storage and
offloading vessel (FPSO).

To be deployed at the Johan Castberg field
development in the Barents Sea, about 240km
from Hammerfest, Norway, the FPSO will have
a hull approximately 55m wide and 295m long.
It will be self-contained for harsh-environment
operations, with living quarters accommodating
up to 140 personnel.

The project is scheduled for completion in the first
quarter of 2020.

Remembering of ORC to SRC pipeline project in 2004.

Oman Refinery Co (ORC) was invested around US$119 million for the construction of a 266-km crude oil pipeline to provide feedstock for Sohar Refinery Co (SRC).
The 24-inch pipeline will go along Al Batinah coast from ORC's Mina Al Fahal facility to Sohar with required capacity of 116,000 barrels per day (bpd) of mixed Crude Oil and Long Residue.
This capacity was increased up to 160,000 bpd of Oman Export Blend Crude Oil.
We (Aram Control System & Technology Pte Ltd) involved withYokogawa Company, Singapore Stardom PLC/ Fast tool (HMI) for the development of PLC program & HMI system.

Now, the Yokogawa introduced new system in pipeline management, "Solution (EPMS) R1.03".

Developed for deployment at the heart of the pipeline operations management environment, the EPMS supplements a core SCADA platform with specific gas and liquid applications that enable a pipeline operator to manage delivery contracts and associated logistics.
