Chateau Magrez Fombrauge Grand Cru St Emilion 2009 - RP97

Although dating back to the 1400's, this property didn't realise its full potential until purchased in 1999 by Bernard Magrez, with a mixture of traditional and modern techniques, this wine is now one of the World's most sought after. The 2009 shows blackcurrant, plum, and dark chocolate, with hints of cedar and spice. Full-bodied and rich with velvety tannins and a long, elegant finish. Drinking beautifully now, enjoy over the next 10 years.

Dating back to the 1400's this is one of the Right Bank's oldest properties and has notably been producing some of Bordeaux most opulent wines. The 2015 vintage has aromas of dark cherry and plum, with hints of cedar. The palate is rich, velvety, and well-structured, showing refined tannins and a long, elegant finish. Drinking beautifully now and over the next 10 years.
