Solaia is one of the most refined and coveted Super Tuscans from the illustrious Antinori family who also produce the iconic Tignanello. The name “Solaia,” which means “the sunny one,” reflects the ideal conditions of its vineyard site on the Tenuta Tignanello estate. Solaia was initially created as a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, with later vintages incorporating Sangiovese, adding a distinct Italian character to this Bordeaux style blend. 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐞𝐫 & 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐕 was created to celebrate the monarch who granted Johnnie Walker its first Royal Warrant in 1934. The whisky makers drew on their archives to handpick whiskies from distilleries that existed during his reign. This includes some of the rarest in Johnnie Walker’s reserves, such as 𝐢𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐬 from the now-closed 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐄𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧 distillery. The 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 created by Chinese artist Shan Jiang features a stunning illustration of the 𝐁𝐚𝐢 𝐙𝐞, a mythical creature that symbolises virtuousness, nobility and protection from evil. Much like its namesake, this elegantly rich and creamy whisky has a great depth of character and elegant reserve.
