minimART is a platform dedicated to young artists, to showcase original artworks ranging from paintings, sculptures and photography, to installation, performance and other forms of contemporary practices. All works experimented, installed and showcased are for sale under $1,000. This is an event organised by artists for artists in Singapore! It aims to contribute to the development of local artist
ic practice--particularly that of young contemporary artists--by encouraging constant production of art among emerging talent. It also hopes to plant the seed of collecting local art in the larger public through its presentation of affordable artworks. (Read more about minimART's objectives of the event below.)
