Those fixtures which pap made himself was complimented by contractor of the precision woodwork while dismantling them. Thought I would share this little info here as if anyone would care.
Maybe those who has been supporting Seahorse would remember the dimly lit provision shop in Ang Mo Kio in its former charm. šŸ˜…

굷马Seahorse minimart is a quaint little shop located at 447 Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 St 43.

My parents started the business the same year before I was borned. Many childhood memories of mine surrounded the hood. Attending the same kinder with the neighbourā€™s kids, playing hide and seek around the blocks, playing Tok-Tah over the drain cover after the store next door shut and seeing the tree-lined street change over the decades.

Old-timers gone with new one moved in, the shop served as a pit-stop for respite during a hot day, the go to place for a late night titbits, convenient shop for the late shifters. The lights are shone till late to serve their needs.

Amidst the malls and hypermarkets that have shadowed over these little shops, we are glad that some regulars keeps coming to our shop.
