"sometimes, to be a better and happier person for yourself, you’ll have to be a “bad person” to others. it means you’ll have to disappoint some people along the way, establish some boundaries that might be hard for you to do, and remind yourself other people won’t understand your recovery process or even attempt to. if you are someone who people pleases a lot, it’s very easy to fall into the trap of fawning as a trauma response, but sometimes, you’ll need to displease certain people in order to help yourself."

Self improvement is recognising your own shortcomings and working on it to become a better version of yourself each day.

No one is perfect and we all have some or other limitations. These limitations can also limit us from having a healthy relationship, gaining self confidence or achieving our goals. Our inadequacies only become a reason to lose when we stop improving us. To improve, one must know one weakness’. Spend time everyday to reflect on your day, try to analyse where you lacked and how you can make those little changes needed to do better next time.

Each day is an opportunity to learn and improve. It is not about being perfect in everything you do, but making small changes everyday to bring more worth to what you do.
