Asin Tibuok, known as the "whole salt," is crafted by filtering seawater through ashes and boiling it in clay pots, resulting in a beautifully smoky, mineral-rich salt. Meanwhile, Asin Tultul is made in Guimaras by boiling seawater until it crystallizes and shaping it into blocks with a bold salty, umami flavor.

These artisanal salts proudly showcase the ingenuity, hard work, and deep connection of Filipinos to their natural resources. Beyond elevating Filipino cuisine, they support local artisans and stand as shining symbols of our rich heritage and unique identity. Truly, they are a celebration of what makes us proudly Filipino!

Even before the establishment of Maginhawa Eco-Store, its proprietors had been unwavering advocates for marine conservation and supporters of Earth Island Institute Philippines. From protesting dolphin shows in Cubao over a decade ago, to collaborating with Whaleboy Ag on countless murals of dolphins and whales across the Philippines, to promoting EEI's children’s book, "Wady's Epic Adventure to Save Home," and organizing the inspiring "Pedal for the Planet" event last December 2024, their dedication has been a testament to their mission.

This unwritten partnership symbolizes a steadfast commitment to safeguarding marine life and preserving the rich biodiversity of the Philippine seas.
