As we celebrate the year that was, we take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve shared. This year has been nothing short of extraordinary—a testament to the passion, dedication, and camaraderie that define ACE. We have celebrated milestones, overcome challenges, and strengthened the bonds that make this community so special. It is through these shared experiences that we help each other learn and grow.

Eighteen years of continuous passion, drive, stories, camaraderie, and community. What a ride it has been for this 18th year of Atenean Car Enthusiasts (ACE). As we gear up for the new year, we celebrate everything that makes ACE special and reflect on the moments that have defined us. From the excitement of our events to the bonds formed among members, 2024 has truly been unforgettable.

To our members, thank you for your unwavering support and dedication. Your enthusiasm and engagement in our events have been the pure driving force behind our community. Whether it’s through sharing stories, exchanging insights, or simply enjoying the company of fellow car enthusiasts, you have made ACE a vibrant and welcoming space. ACE would not be the same without your passion and commitment, and we look forward to creating even more memories together in the coming year.

To our cherished alumni, thank you for your continued support and for serving as our inspiration. This year, your presence at key events and your invaluable advice have helped shape our initiatives and strengthen the bonds within our community. Your legacy is a testament to what this community can achieve when driven by shared values and goals. We strive to honor the foundation you’ve built by continuing to foster a spirit of excellence, camaraderie, and innovation. Your guidance and encouragement fuel our journey forward, reminding us of the potential we have to reach new heights while staying true to our roots.

Reflecting on the memories we’ve shared this year, we are beyond grateful to every single one of you. From rainy evening meets to sunny drives and everything in between, each moment has celebrated our shared love for cars and the friendships they inspire. Interlude.

As this first semester of the 2024-2025 season closes, it is always a good opportunity to take time and slow things down, reflecting on the good, the bad, and everything in between. For these few, their mode of reflection is complemented by the presence and enjoyment of anything and everything automotive. The stories, catchups, and 'kamustahans' are really what tambays are made of. A love letter, in essence, to both cars and to those who find solace and comfort in simply driving for a conversation.

This is just the beginning for ACE this year. With double-digit meets already under the belt and many constantly finding themselves regularly visiting the meets, ACE looks forward to many more, with even bigger events already lined up for the new year. As a love letter and thank you to ACE and its members, compiled is a highlight collage showing the best of the best scenes this year.

A constant reminder that, car or no car, whether a newbie to the scene or someone who has known about the environment for a while, all are welcome to find a spot here in ACE's community. Happy Holidays, everyone, and see you at the next meet!

Good weather, even better cars, and the best company. Last night at All Home C5 Libis was all about reconnecting with familiar faces, welcoming new ones, and sharing our passion under the city lights. A huge thank you to our members and alumni for showing up and keeping the spirit alive—each story, update, and laugh added to the vibrant atmosphere. Stickers are still available for those who missed them!

Stuck in Time: Legends of the 90s at Clark International Speedway

Legends of the 90s is an invite-only event showcasing the pinnacle of 90’s automobilia, where only the finest examples of the era’s cars were meticulously curated by the admin team. The selection process ensured that only the best of the best graced the event, giving attendees a nostalgic journey that felt as close to time travel as one could get. Every now and then, it’s nice to reminisce about the "golden days," and this event brought those memories back to life.

Every car was strategically placed around the track, creating an automotive setpiece. A drift circle featured cars positioned to demonstrate different dynamic stages of drifting, from initiation to exit. The concourse d'elegance highlighted the timeless design of the Germans near the wine cellar, while the Hondas occupied the start-finish straight. Overland icons like Land Cruisers and Land Rovers were staged in the middle hills, and rally-bred machines held their ground on the grassy area at the track's final hairpin.

As the sun set and night took over, attendees were treated to a thrilling mini touge battle, where drivers navigated tight corners with precision, reminiscent of Tsukuba races and the Gunsai Touge. The action continued with an exhilarating drift showcase, featuring a camera car chasing the smoke of the drifting one, adding to the excitement. Under the floodlights, tire smoke filled the air, and the roar of engines echoed through the track, all while safety marshals ensured a controlled and safe environment—right place, right time. It was a true treat for spectators to witness a Hot Version-esque touge battle come to life, pushing the limits just like Keiichi Tsuchiya, Max Orido, and Nobuteru Taniguchi did, or as we watched in Initial D.

Congratulations to the admin team for organizing such a meticulously planned event—elevating the car scene one meet at a time. It was great to see ACE alumni and current members in attendance, making the experience even more special. To those who were invited, congratulations on being part of something legendary.

With the cold breeze settling in as night fell, we had an great time at North Parking last night, sharing our passion, reminiscing about fond memories, and making new ones together. A big thank you to everyone who made the effort to attend! We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you at our next event.

All at Home.

As the cool breeze of the night swept through, warm conversations and cherished memories filled the air, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Basking under the enchanting glow of the city lights, everything felt pleasant and cozy here at All Home Libis. Whether it was meeting new friends or catching up with familiar faces, we relished the moments that reminded us of the good times and memories from the past and making new ones as well.

It’s moments like these that truly define our experiences. Great laughter echoed through the space, with fun interactions sparking joy and connection. We shared updates on our builds, exchanged informative insights and enjoyed a good old kumustahan. It was a beautiful tapestry of interactions, woven together by our shared stories and passion.

A special thank you to all our members and guests for joining us tonight. Your presence enriches our gatherings, and we are grateful for the opportunity to connect. We also want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the alumni for their continued support in building this wonderful space for everyone to enjoy. As the sun dipped below the horizon and the clouds rolled in, the rain soon began to fall, lightly tapping the asphalt while conversations flowed around us. We had an amazing time at North Parking last night, chatting about our passions, reflecting on old memories, and creating new ones.

Whether you visit with a spinning rotary, a boxer engine, a punchy inline-four, or even if you simply walked to the meet, you are always welcomed with open arms here. If you’re interested in getting an ACE sticker, feel free to reach out !

As the rain kissed the pavement and conversations filled the air, we had a fantastic time at North Parking last night, talking about our shared passion and reminiscing on fond memories while making new ones. Since 2006, Bellarmine Hall has served as our gathering place, a sanctuary where we've forged friendships, shared stories, and ignited our passion for cars. These hallowed halls have witnessed countless moments of joy, laughter, and camaraderie, making them an integral part of our Ateneo experience. Within these walls, we've found a sense of belonging, a community of like-minded individuals who share our love for automobiles. From the lively discussions to the shared experiences, Bellarmine Hall has become more than just a physical space; it's a symbol of our shared history, a testament to the enduring spirit of ACE, and a place where we've created lasting memories.

We're grateful to everyone who has supported this meet, from our new and current members to our dedicated alumni. Your enthusiasm and commitment have made this event possible. Thank you for helping us continue this legacy that you guys started.

As we conclude the registration period for this academic year, the Ateneo Car Enthusiasts would like to express our sincere gratitude to those who have chosen to join our community. Your enthusiasm for automotive engineering and your commitment to fostering a vibrant automotive culture within our space is truly inspiring.

We're still on that adrenaline rush after of our exhilarating RecWeek! A heartfelt thank you to all the new members who have chosen to join our automotive enthusiast community. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the LOINS and RecWeek teams for their invaluable support in securing a prime location at the Colayco Pavilion. Their dedication and assistance were instrumental in making our RecWeek a resounding success.

Moreover, we extend our deepest appreciation to Apex Racing Philippines for their generous contribution of their top of the line racing simulator. Their support not only enhanced the overall experience for our members but also provided a unique and immersive opportunity to engage with the world of motorsport.

As we reflect on the highlights of RecWeek, we are filled with a sense of accomplishment and excitement for the year ahead. The enthusiasm and energy displayed by our members and supporters are truly inspiring. Our RecWeek was just a taste of the exciting events to come.
