Dear Filinvest 1 Residents,

Due to the rapid increase in Covid-19 cases here in our community, the Coop will go back to its "no entry" restriction effective January 7, 2022, Friday.

Customers will not be allowed entry into the store but will be served by the staff at the entrance. Delivery service will continue. You can call 8931 2313 for inquiries, or for delivery requests. Alternatively, you can send an SMS or VIBER message to 0956 776 9328. Other than cash and credit/debit card payments, GCash is also accepted.

Remember that strict safety protocols are required when transacting at the Coop. The wearing of a face mask (double masking preferred) is mandatory. Physical distancing is a must.

This will be in effect until further notice.

You can call 8931 2313 for deliveries or send a message in the Coop Viber Community. This will be in effect immediately and until further notice.

Remember that strict safety protocols are required when transacting at the Coop. The wearing of a face mask (double masking preferred) and a face shield is mandatory. Physical distancing is a must.

In return, the Coop staff adhere to its own strict safety measures. Double masks and face shields are worn by staff. Disinfecting of their hands is done after every transaction. Washing of their hands done at regular intervals and whenever they feel the need to. High contact surfaces are disinfected several times within the day. A full disinfection of the store interior is done every Sunday.

The Coop fully supports the call of the medical experts and authorities to stay at home. Do not go out unless really necessary.

We hope for your cooperation and understanding. We are doing this to minimize the exposure risk of the coop staff and its interiors to the virus. We are doing this so we can continue serving the community.

Quarantine is a state or place of isolation for a person who may have come in contact with contagious diseases. The period of isolation lowers the chance that person in quarantine could transfer illnesses to others. A quarantine is enforced to prevent the further spread of the disease to other people.

So PLEASE, if you or any in your household have been instructed to undergo quarantine, DO NOT GO TO THE COOP. Make sure you, and EVERYONE ELSE UNDER QUARANTINE WITH YOU like your household staff, understand that GOING OUT IS NOT ALLOWED until the quarantine period is over.

If any of the Coop staff get sick, the Coop will need to shutdown. If this happens, we all lose the safety and convenience of having a source of groceries inside the village.

Let's all be vigilant and responsible for ourselves and for our Filinvest 1 community.

The COOP offers a disinfecting service but is the Active Ingredient in Bac-To-Zero safe???

Quaternary ammonium compounds are nitrogenous organic compounds used as disinfectants in restaurants, hospitals and homes.

One of the advantages of quaternary ammonium disinfectants is that these don't damage clothing and carpets the way that bleach does. These are also non-corrosive to metal pipes and other surfaces, another advantage over bleach.

The FILHAI Multi-Purpose Cooperative is the organization comprised of members who are residents of Filinvest Homes 1 and operates the FILHAI MPC Convenience Store.

FILHAI Administrative Office is the management entity of Filinvest 1 Homeowners Association Incorporated and is in charge of village administration.

Why doesn't the COOP get other suppliers for products that run out? Why not have multiple suppliers for the products para may back up na supplier kapag hindi makaka deliver yung isa at hindi mag out of stock?

The COOP already has primary and secondary suppliers that can provide what is needed. Normally, the Coop does not encounter delivery issues with its suppliers. HOWEVER, because of the ECQ, the suppliers are having difficulties supplying the Coop's exact orders due to supply, manpower, and logistics issues.

And please do remember that the Coop is just a small convenience store so the order quantity is relatively small compared to other retail outlets which order in multiples of cases of items. So getting a new supplier which will deliver a small quantity AND will accept credit terms is almost impossible at this time.

Rest assured that the Coop is doing its best to keep the essential items available.
